I am a multishipper. I ship multiple ships that may contradict each other or contain the same person as another ship I like. When that happens, I ship both ships in separate universes where the other ship isn’t a thing. For example, I ship Charlastor, but only in a universe where Chaggi isn’t a thing and I still very much love and respect Chaggi.

I am cis, able-bodied and white passing

I do not care for shipping wars. If I happen to ship something you don’t like, please do not harass me about it. There are ships I don’t care for as well but you’ll never see me causing any sort of drama about it. As long as it isn’t pedophilic or incestuous, I really don’t care what people ship. I enjoy things in fiction (ships, characters, tropes) that are dark, toxic, and/or problematic. I do not condone these concepts IRL, and can recognize that something is problematic while still enjoying it in fiction.

I separate the art from the artist, and do not condone anything problematic anyone I’m a fan of has done. If I like someone’s art, I like their art, and that does not mean I agree with their actions and beliefs or support them as a person. For example, I love the Harry Potter franchise, but detest JK Rowling and do not support anything she stands for.

I hate cancel culture and will always do my research before deciding if someone is a bad person. Do not tell me who I can and cannot follow or interact with on my own blog. I believe in second chances and that not everything is black and white, and unless someone is genuinely a provably horrible person, do not tell me to unfollow them. Do not involve me in your personal beef with other users.

Don’t engage with me on label and identity discourse. As long as you’re not hurting anyone use whatever labels you want and identify however makes sense to you.

Potentially controversial opinion but I don't think old songs should be cleaned up and censored of the worst of their lyrics if the songs are still being played and performed. Like give the whole thing or don't play it, you might not like having to go "yes, it was a different time" when the Oh Fucking Yikes lines come in, but if you don't do that, there's going to be people who weren't there and will confidently go "actually things were never like that at all", because the sources they were being exposed to decided to skip the parts that were nasty.

Like if a song about being a working class youth living an awful life in an awful place requires me to look up up what the fuck a blue shirt is to understand "my daddy was a blue shirt, my mother a madam", I'm going to question why we suddenly decided to chicken out on elaborating what the brother was doing while earning medals in Vietnam.

Alternate canon where they have a romantic arc of Charlie bringing out a soft side to Alastor while he makes her stronger and more confident in herself? Perfect. Alastor being completely utterly obsessed with her even though his feelings are unrequited and Charlie only sees him as a friend at most? Perfect. Human 1920s AU? Perfect.
