ive also been taking the class on bike rides with the weather being so nice and our numbers being so low. and my boss said i could bring my bike to school and ride alongside them so THAT'S fun

i've been trying to instill a love for bugs in my preschoolers. we usually get weevils, bees, spiders this time of year. and i've told them that spiders eat the mosquitos and that bees work hard to help the flowers grow, so we should thank them. and it's fucking awesome having a previously-terrified-of-spiders child see one and go "banjo! a spider!!! thank you spider!!!!" :') or have a kid giggle at the sight of a bee getting too close because "it thinks my shirt's a flower!"

we're also raising caterpillars and it's SO awesome answering all of their questions and learning alongside them :') wuv my job.

i'm not the best at singing. but i'm gonna sing anyway dude. i'm not the best at painting. but i'm still going to paint. my dancing will never see a stage. but it's perfect for early mornings in my bedroom and late nights with people i love. so what does this mean? it means that people are designed to do. not to be the best. just to do. if you're doing what you enjoy, then you don't have to be the best. you just have to enjoy it. you have to live.
