Why should Elain even bother to give Lucien a chance? I think people forget that she literally died. Her entire life’s happiness was stolen from her. Her fiancé, whatever children and future they’d planned for, it was just gone, taken.

Lucien was an accomplice. Tamlin agreed to the actions of Hybern but Lucien went there too. Lucien might not have liked it but he never stopped it. Look at what happened to Feyre. He spoke up but he never tried to get her out on his own. Go back and read ACOTAR, look at how Lucien talks about humans.

Feyre always coerces Elain into being around Lucien or inviting him to Velaris. Now she has to spend holidays with him. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Elain doesn’t want anything to do with him and that’s okay. This chic needs to have some say in her life. FFS she can’t even kiss anyone else without someone saying her mate is around. I would resent Lucien too.
