"Merry Christmas, Brucie." Tony shrugged, looking sheepish, as he pushed the long, rectangular box toward the other scientist. "I'm being reduced to gag gifts this year, it's ridiculous. But I kinda hope it at least makes you laugh." Inside the box was a set of ornate bongo drums, a reference back to years before, when the Avengers had first been put together. Before they had fallen for one another. "Silly, right?"

Bruce chuckled and looked at Tony "All I'm missing is the mellow jazz and huge bag of weed."

Tony huffed out a soft laugh and pulled their bodies in tightly together. “I’d hope not.”

"I love you." he said with a soft smile.

"Love you too, Brucie." He tangled a hand in that curly hair and pulled him down so their foreheads bumped together gently.

Bruce smiled softly and rubbed Tony's back. "I've missed this."

"Shh." He pressed close against Bruce, curling an arm around him. "I’m just glad you’re here."

Bruce held Tony closer “I wont leave you again.”
