My interview took a hard left, but went well! They ended up firing one of the bread managers yesterday, so I didn't interview for sous pastry chef, I interviewed for that position. It went really well! I have to do a tasting of three different loaves next week and do some other homework stuff (a mock schedule, a training guide for new bakers, etc) but I think I've got it!

Now I just have to do all that while we work on getting orders ahead for next week because our hospitality group is the caterer for lollapalooza! I'm starting to feel very ✨👩‍🍳chef✨🥖 especially since I worked a 12+ hour shift more than once this week and I feel like I live in that bakery 🤪

Is it worth all that to feel cool? Obv
