watching the second promo for next week and if someone hurts the bad ass ice queen banshee that is Lydia Martin I will hunt down Jeff Davis. This is the second time she’s in the hospital.

lydia, kira and malia have all been deprived of screen time on the show honestly like they each have their own storylines that people obviously care about such as kira and the dark kitsune and malia and the desert wolf and lydia and her powers but instead we get plenty of screen time from parrish who has a boring storyline and its just a waste of a scene really when we could be getting more information on the important things that are going on. i would rather watch malia and her mom fighting, kira knowing about the kitsune and one scene with lydia without following parrish’s ass and actually learning what she can do with her powers than watching parrish setting a old ass tree trunk on fire and polluting the environment

Can we talk about how after Lydia melted Valack’s face off she was sitting upright and as soon as she saw Stiles running to her she visibly relaxed so much. Her face, her entire body fell back in relief from seeing Stiles.

Stiles saved me

When Lydia says this line I don’t think she’s referring to the whole ‘get Lydia out of Eichen’ plan. At least that’s not how I heard it. I think she’s talking about all of the smaller things. Stiles refusing to leave her, Stiles not running even when she tells him too, Stiles sitting with her in the car, Stiles holding her hand, and telling her that everything’s going to be okay. Stiles refusing to run even though he’s human and could get seriously hurt.   It was Lydia saying thank you, acknowledging that yes they all saved her but Stiles was there before that, he was there when she was comatose and when she was in the hospital and he spent time just sitting and talking with her.  It was Lydia telling Stiles to stop being so hard on himself, that he’s a hero despite what he may think. And you can just see the utter pride and joy in Stiles’ eyes when she says it.   This scene is so sweet and important, and it’s sad that so many people are offended by it.

In my opinion,…

“They saved my life, mom. Stiles saved me.”

I think, the pack saved Lydia physically, like getting her out of Eichen, But I think Stiles saved her from getting consumed by her banshee powers….if that makes sense….

Like Stiles was helping her keep her sanity…helping her to keep calm…

Anyway when I get the words right I’ll come back.

Everyone is getting mad at the fact that Lydia said “Stiles saved me” when it was a group effort. And yes they are right, it was a group effort.

But Stiles was the one who constantly came back, even after she begged him to leave.

After Lydia literally screamed Valacks head off, who was the first person she seen? Stiles.

Who held her in the back of the jeep? Stiles

Who comforted her in the jeep? Stiles

Who protected her from the glass when she screamed? Stiles

And lastly, when she wasn’t waking up … Who was the first person she seen when she opened her eyes? Stiles

So you can’t blame her for saying that it was only stiles, because in her eyes… all she seen was him.

Again about the "stiles saved me" fuss

he actually did save her, he was the one who found her, he was the one who took her, who stayed with her in the jeep and in the clinic and all that. of course he had help cus he obviously couldn't do that by himself. Anyway lydia almost didn't even see the rest of the pack, so its perfectly fine that she thinks stiles was the hero of the night, just like it was ok for her to think jackson was the one who took her to the hospital after peter attacked her
