So I used to like one of my friends, I stopped liking him after he got back with his girlfriend. I realised that 1. He wouldn’t ever like me like that, and 2. If we were to be in a relationship, it might be weird because we were such good friends.
So I’ve not liked him in nearly a year which is all cool, whatever, but last night we were at a party together and he was pished.
He’s a bit of a lightweight so he’d been drunk for a while, and I was upstairs laying on a mattress talking to some people. He pure passed out beside me and I thought he’d gone to sleep (he tends to do that, he was fine I’ve sussed him out lol) so I just ignored him, eventually he started touching my hair and whatever, moving closer to me. I just ignored it yanno, let him get comfortable whatever! But he later had has hand on my waist, and he was stroking my knuckles while I was talking to my mates. Basically being very sly and flirty drunk.
Now the confusing part comes in when I say, I’ve never seen him be like that when drunk, or at least not towards me, so it’s just very out of character for him. The worst part though, is that he’s got a girlfriend. He’d said for a very short while now that he thinks it won’t work again, because she just “pisses him off” sometimes (long story, but from my understanding she’s very quick to side with her mates over him, and get annoyed when he gets upset).
I’ve not explained it very well but it was just really confusing to me because he’s told me that he’s probably going to break up with his girlfriend and he was really flirty with me (even tho he was drunk, he sobered up really quickly in the taxi home with me???).
He messaged me to say thank you for helping him get home, so I was like “that’s chill go have some water and sleep on your side, night night buddy”. Kinda friendzoning him I guess. So he was like night night ‘pal’. So I think we’re cool and there won’t be any drama but I was still pretty fuckin confused.
I’ll see him at another party tonight, so if he remembers anything and talks to me about it, hopefully it gets cleared up, and u might have an update soon.
Anyways that was a little rant of my confusions, might have a chapter up by Monday but I’m stressed as fuck so maybe not ok bye xzz
