Diary Log - 10/31/2021
happy halloween! I had a lot of fun last night, actually. :) although the night ended too early for my tastes, I still had so much fun drinking and playing games with my friends. I also kissed a girl and I liked it, haha. it was a pretty unceremonious and sloppy makeout in the middle of the street but did I love it? yes. yes I did. and then we were sleeping together and I got scared and pretended to be asleep so we didn't have sex but WHATEVS, it was still amazing. today, I felt happy for the first time in a long time even though crystal did some fuck shit to me. I don't even care. I had a good day today and a good day yesterday and I don't need to get hung up on the small stuff. it's a bright world out there, it really is.

Is it too much to ask that I get to have fun with friends on my favorite holiday? I guess it must be since I don't even get to do that. I just wanted Halloween to not suck for me two years in a row, but that's not happening. I don't know if I'm just not worthy of happiness or what, like I just wanted to enjoy my favorite holiday and be heard about how my day went and stuff but no one actually cares. I don't know why I try. I shouldn't have to make people care about me. I shouldn't have to force others to want to like me. I don't even have friends. All my friends have other friends but I'm alone. Something interesting happened to me today and I tried to tell a friend but she didn't even care, she just interrupted me to talk about her day. I try so hard and it doesn't even fucking matter. I don't know why I even try. I really don't.

Feeling good and motivated today! Focusing on form at the gym is the best idea, I'll try to just get competent and then worry about weights later. I have time and it's not worth it to go too hard, too fast. Sustainable changes. I love myself! I'm funny, I'm interesting, I'm intelligent, I'm capable, I'm a hard worker! I'm also beautiful; I have beautiful eyes, a very cute nose, lovely lips + smile, big ole boobies. I love me, I like myself so much.

once you stop fantasizing about that ideal version of yourself and start working towards becoming that person by setting your alarm clock earlier and actually going to the gym and actually volunteering at places and actually eating healthier and not procrastinating and working just a little bit harder you’ll realize that it was so easy all along. becoming your ideal self will only ever exist in your mind until you make the decision to work towards becoming that person. get up!! get going!! it’s now or never!! there is no light at the end of the tunnel!! get that flashlight and pave your own path bitch bc no one else is going to do it for u!!
Things they never told me about losing weight.
1. Buy some better cold weather clothing. You are going to get cold. 2. Buy some decent skin lotion and use it frequently. Your skin is going to retract a bit, and a bit of lotion does wonders for helping it firm up smoother, and stops it drying out. 3. You may have excess skin. This is normal, and not something to panic about/beat yourself up about. 4. Weight loss will start fast but slow rapidly. When you are very over weight, you will find that the weight falls off you initially, but it’s a curve, and it WILL slow down as your body isn’t using up as many calories just existing. This is good. This is healthy. You have not done anything wrong. 5. It won’t be easy. Those people who tell you it’s easy ? They are liars. It’s hard. It’s worth it … but it’s hard. 6. You are amazing and beautiful at every point of your journey. Some people will try to convince you that you are more important or more approachable because you are slimmer. Fuck that noise. You are the same person you always have been, and your value was never determined by a number.

I am not a personal trainer, I am just a spoonie sharing what I do for anyone interested. If you follow along with me, you acknowledge that you have already discussed appropriate exercise for you, with your doctor.
Sticking with my 4 workouts a week goal with a Leg day, core day, upper body day, and total body day.
If you are still feeling sore, and a rest day is not an option, remember to choose low impact mods.
The 4th workout of the week is designed as a Burn Out workout, don’t feel bad if you can’t make it all the way through the workout or need to skip it for a week. This is workout is supposed to sap you of anything you have left, and maximize your results.
You know yourself, never push to the point of injury. Fitness Blender is usually pretty good about providing beginner and low impact modifications but these videos may not be perfect. Do what you can for your fitness level, and that will always be “enough”

This morning while I was on the arc trainer I thought, “Hmmm, every time Fergalicious starts playing I get really pumped and kick up the intensity. Why could that be?”
Because the beat is around 130 BPM and I move along with it, duh.
So I made myself a new ~45 minute arc trainer workout mix only with songs that are around 130 BPM. I might die when I use it, but it’s fine 💁🏻♀️
