~ New project in the works ~ Artwork is a channel for answering impossible questions. These altars are in my studio bedroom and in my thoughts all day long. They're growing with every news article I read and hear about the threat of losing sacred lands to new fossil fuel mines. I ride a bike instead of driving a car, and shop from bulk food sections or produce aisles to avoid purchasing plastic. I am alive, and I bow to the places which sustain undeveloped Earth - the fierce winds and weather with nowhere to hide, and the wild animals with no concept of comfort and convenience. Let us allow these places to exist.
