So I’ve relaised that each of our five main characters gets an istrument or two that sort of represents them, and can often be heard in there songs. Or plays a medley of a song they feature heavily in (I’ll have to go back but I will update this with another post of other things I find)
Now Jason’s is obvious it’s a flute. What’s the opening part to epiphany, Jason part in bare on a flute. It shows up again subtly in best kept secret it shows up again at the beginning of wedding bells, while Jason doesn’t sing, he’s a big part of what happens during the dream sequence, cross is the next major song it appears in, once again at the end of the song again as Jason’s part in bare accompanied by peters part being played in what I want to say is a violin I’m not sure. It shows up one final time after queen mab with the verse of bare in pan flute (still a flute) dying slowly as Jason dies and does not show up again in any of the following songs after his death. He also might be repsented by an electric guitar when he’s leaning into the act and trying to act straight, as one, ever after, and you and I (mostly during the parts where the other students interrupt them)
Peter’s is actually the guitar, and it’s easy to see most of his songs have a guitar some where in there in there from you and I, best kept secret, ever after, see me, pilgrims hands, bare and briefly at the beginning of queen mab.
Ivy is the piano, which plays heavily in her three solo songs, touch my soul, portrait of a girl and all grown up, while also being played in songs where she gets featured like promise,
Now Matt was a little tricky, but I relaised that he’s probably a drum set, his first song he’s in (auditions) has a drum beat at the beginning, it also shows up when he starts singing in other songs such as promise, no voice (mostly cymbals) and portrait of a girl
Nadia might also have two different instruments that represent depending on the context of the song, Nadia seems to be both the bass guitar and the cello, the bass guitar during more intense songs like plain Jane, one, and promise, and cello during more mood filled songs like quiet night and spring.
If I missed any or anything I said is wrong let me know
