PLEASE if ur cis dont just take from this that “conversion therapy is bad! who could ever do that! damn christians”.

this is about the culture that enables conversion therapy, about how leelah was scared to come out as school entirely because of what her classmates might say or do. 

by all means, condemn conversion therapy. but also condemn “men in dresses” jokes. condemn the use of transphobic slurs. never ask or make jokes about a trans person’s genitals. condemn and destroy transphobia at all levels.
