Love the celebrations for the canes but !! while we're on the topic of Raleigh, I feel like it's a good time to talk about how voting rights are being threatened in NC.

Specifically, college campuses are being targeted in order to decrease students access to voting sites. The most recent example is NC State University, located in Raleigh.

A lot can be said about the south, it's politics, and it's education system, but it's crucial to understand where these takes come from: the government's diligence in silencing us and keeping us down. The Stanley Cup may have been one way of proving our worth, but it's crucial that we stand for our home and the rights our students.

I'm honestly not the best at speaking on political topics but hopefully this gets a few more people thinking about what's actively going down in our state! I love you North Carolina and I love our people!!
