My first impressions of Nicaragua

After a ten hour flight crossing the Atlantic I arrive in Houston, USA. The country made of people who are so the same, but so different. Anyway Than I flew down 4 hours to the capital of Nicaragua, Managua. From stories I heard this city could to be a bit dangerous, so I arranged an airport pick up to a hostel located on a secured compound. According to Dutch time it was 7 in the morning unfortunately it was 10:30 pm in Managua. Without any problem is slept well after communication more with hands than words for the bus I had to book for the next day.

The next day I wake up at 6 am, don’t ask me why, don’t I need more sleep usually? Anyway I had some Nicaraguan breaky and headed down south to a place called Rivas. My end destination for the day was nothing less than San Juan Del Sur I like surfing so I was thinking sur sounds like surf right?

What I have read about it is that you can do lots of things like seeing turtles lay eggs on the beach or catch some edgy waves! So Del Sur see you soon!

Some typical thinks I noticed is that I actually looks a bit like Asian but the houses are colourful and the cars are all American. I guess the whole of Southern/Central America have lots of USA influence just like we in Europe, but the over the top, the bigger the better I don’t share with them.

When I wondered and looked around i saw some locals but honestly I see Mexicans, Asians or Spanish look a likes of you ask me! How does the real Nicaraguan looks like? I guess the citizens are just as multicultural as other colonial or even Europe.

It's just a 2 hour drive from my home town, but still I have never visit! Brussels is a unique city in many kinds! It's the EU capital to begin with, it's the captital of Belgium and capital of two languages come together! The weird shape in from of you was constructed in 1958 during the world expo. The most bizar island I ever visited. This place has so many amazing stories and unique native plants and animals. It also reminds me of the island we have in the north of holland. One of the Dutch islands is call ameland and it has a similar lighthouse and it's also famous for biking just like Rotness. This name came for the Dutch too. It basically means pirates nest.
