A/N: fun fact this was the first independent fandom fic I EVER posted! it was back in october!!! I was very proud of the fact I managed to keep the reader completely gender neutral while still having penetration

it also means I can show how I'm gonna go about posting 18+/Rated E fics (at least for now). SO. below the cut will be a preview of the fic, and then a link to the ao3 posting of it because for now I'm too nervous to shove hard smut to the masses of tumblr

Usually, when you offer Eddie some “stress relief” after a long day of work and being exhausted, it involves you two rolling around in bed, taking turns using your mouths to make the other come undone, and then falling asleep in each other's arms. Volt occasionally joins when he's not finishing the rest of Eddie's chores for the day.

Today however, Eddie had other plans.

Today wasn't just exhausting, it was so. Fucking. Frustrating. Every time he fixed something, another problem showed up somewhere else. To make it worse, everything felt stiff and his hands kept shaking, which only fucked things up even more. Then, of course, people kept being annoying all night. There was at least two brawls, Johnny was performing, a drunk Jean-Loo tried climbing to the stage and swiping the mic from Volt's hand, several glasses got broken some way or another, and Beverly, shitfaced off her ass, cried and clung to Eddie's arm as they tried to close. Volt, after many long minutes of persuasion, managed to pry her off him and walk her home. Times like that remind Eddie how much of a god damn saint that man is.

By the end of the shift at the club, his jaw hurt from clenching his teeth, his face hurt from scowling so damn much, and he honestly just wanted to punch or scream or blow up or something.

So, the second he saw you looking at him like that, he made up his mind and fucking pounced. You barely made it upstairs to their apartment with the way he was grabbing, kissing, and biting at you. He practically threw you into bed, pulling so desperately at your clothes you were worried for a moment he might rip them to shreds. Then he had his mouth on you, and God, you couldn't help but melt, your hands threading through his wired hair.

He wasted no time, making a mess of himself and you, not giving a single shit what noises he was making or what you were babbling to him about. He needed you. Right fucking now.
