In the fake it until you make it story around what month and year is happening the events?

One of the aspects i found fascinating about this story is that the fact in this universe is that wizards start Hogwarts when they are 14 years old .

Currently, the story is happening on Late September, 1998. So, we're still very early in the school year.

Tbh, that was a spur on the moment choice, which is why I added those tags later. I didn't know if I wanted to keep their canon ages at the start or not, but by the time I was writing the chapter 2 I decided to age them, mostly because I wanted Hinny's friendship with benefits to have been going for a while, and I thought it would be a bit hard to do that if I kept the canon ages so I aged them up.

Though, even I raised Hogwarts age of entry, I kept things like birthyears and other events happening the same time as canon. For example, Harry was born in 1980 like in canon, but now his parents were still at Hogwarts by then, so he was born while his parents were still students. Funnily enough, something similar happens with the Weasleys and Bill.

I mean, I could just move the dates around so neither of them were born while their parents were still at Hogwarts, but I don't think it affects the story that much, it may give me a few more possibilities for possible interactions between the characters.

Back with another schedule update! Last Friday I posted chapter 2 of Fake it until you make it, so if you were waiting for the update and hadn't see it, you can go read it.

This week I'll not post anything, 'cuz I'm starting classes again. But, I'll try to get ch3 of Fake it until you make it next week. Then, probably ch3 of Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need.

And talking about that, I'm really surprised about how much people is liking that. I wasn't expecting it to blew up in the way it did, like more than 200 kudos is crazy, I was hoping for like 60-70 max. I'll probably post two more chapters and that will be it, because, well, I don't know very well what else to do.

I'll probably keep that schedule of posting Fake It Until You Make It one week and then Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need until I'm done with Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need, and then I'll see what I'll post in the weeks between chapters of Fake It Until You Make It, maybe one-shots, or maybe nothing, we'll see.

In the fake it until you make it story i love how you make Harry perfectly accurate and close to canon version in terms of personality and presence in world he had a good childhood and no Voldemort , great work doing that and i can't wait for him to introduce his friends to Ginny in the next chapter, which apparently we saw a little of his friends in chapter one with some being Slytherin and others Hufflepuff.

Speaking of Voldemort, does Tom Riddle exists in that universe and didn't became a dark wizard or simply doesn't exist at all ?

Yeah, Tom Riddle exists in the universe, he just didn't become a dark wizard. I'm not sure about his current fate apart that he's still alive. Initially I thought about having him as the DADA professor, but I decided to replace him with Remus.

In the fake it until you make it story i picture blnvk arts while reading, how do you imagine the characters while written them ?

Hmm... I don't think I have a particular despiction of them in mind, though I like how blnvk arts draw them. I like how toorumlk draw them too, so maybe a mix of both styles.

But, if I need to describe how I imagine them...

Ginny has long red hair, brown eyes and tons of freckles. She's short, and very fit, with an athletic build. She would usually have her hair loose, but would tie it on a ponytail when she plays Quidditch.

Then, I picture Harry having messy, shoulder-length black hair, and green eyes obviously. His glasses are in better conditions than in canon, but they still look as if he hadn't changed them in years, which he hadn't, he still uses the same glasses he used when he was eleven. And lastly, his iconic scar is still on his forehead, though with a different origin. I can't just imagine him without it, tbh.

Harry is in his fifth year and Ginny is in her fourth year. Although I aged them up a bit, so they are not their canon ages

Hmm... This is one is harder than the last one... On the one hand, I grew up watching Teen Titans, but on the other hand I've probably read more DickBabs stories, so I'm not sure.

I guess it depends on the story, like if it's a Titans story I prefer DickKory, but if it's a batfam one I prefer DickBabs.

I think I'm a bit on the fence with this one.

Hey! Here with another update! Last week was very busy for me in terms of my personal life so I couldn't write much, but I already started with the sequel of Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need, and I finished the first chapter of that Hinny Fake Dating fic I was working on.

The rest of one-shots I mentioned in my last update post, like the Hinny + Tonks, or the one with Harry and the Bones, are still in working but far from beind done. Right now I'm focusing on the second part of Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need, the Hinny Fake Dating fic. I'll enter in more details below.

Then, the other fic idea with multiple chapters that I was working on involving Harry and Daphne is still on the works, too, I have a couple of chapters done, but I may rewrite it cuz I'm not sure I liked the end result, I mean, I like the beats and plot points but not how I wrote it, so, yeah, still working on that. By the way, I already chose a title for it, it will be 'Harry Potter and the Greengrass Betrothal'.

Now, I'll talk a bit more about the upcoming things I'll be posting.

-Hinny Fake Relationship: Still working on the name, but I may post it tomorrow because the first chapter is done. I need to work in the summary, too. But the relevant bits are that is a No Voldemort AU with a Slytherin Harry. As mentioned in the last post, Harry and Ginny would have something going on, they would be friends with benefits in secret, but then, after Ginny's social circle starts suspecting that she's being taken advantage of, they need to start a fake relationship, well, Ginny needs it and she will convince Harry to help her.

-Lending a Husband to a Sister in Need part 2: As I said, I'm already working on it. I have written the part before the smut, so I think I may have it for next week. I don't want to spoil much, but it will be a few months after the first part, with Astoria pregnant, and Daphne will have her turn with Harry.
