Deimos and Angelo! And some of the things that inspired me while creating them, everything (except Back to the Future) coming from the same era they lived in.

They’re brothers, twins, actually, but that’s probably obvious at a glance. Aside from their different hair colors, a result of piebaldism, and Angelo’s habit of trying to play the “calm and rational” one of the duo… don’t let appearances fool you. He tries, I’ll give him that.

Deimos gets his name from one of Mars’s moons, a small natural satellite in our solar system, while Angelo is named after Angelo Secchi, an Italian Jesuit priest and a pioneer of modern astrophysics.

The scholar and the subject of study, works well enough for me. Though, one of them was already there before the other showed up, right? Heh.

A redraw of something I drew back in 2011. I had begged my mother for the whole year for a wacom tablet, and she got me a wacom bamboo for my 13th birthday and I spent so much time drawing. The original drawing I believe isn't even up on my deviantART anymore. I remember copying the pose from a panel from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and trying to draw my OC Light for it. I can like, go back in time to being 13 and having a laptop in my bed with my tablet on my lap and working away at it feeling like such a professional (I wasn't)
