Happily clapping her hands together while jumping up and down, Marin quickly scurries over to the large fluffy bear and throws her arms around it before giving it a tight squeeze. Sure maybe it was a bit too big compared to all of the other stuffed animals that her fans would buy for her, but bigger always meant better in her mind! Just look at Kazu for example! She's way bigger than most people she's dated before and thus that meant she was better! They're married after all. The sheer excitement on her face made it clear how much she loved the bear already. "Isn't he the cutest thing ever~? He reminds me of you with how big he is! I've always wanted a big teddy bear like this ever since I was a small child, but with daddy being so depressed about mama's death... and Kimori always being away with her boxing matches, I never had the chance to ask for one."

🎤 — She takes a moment to reach out and take hold of Kazu's hand, gently placing it against the bear's soft fur. "Of course he's my friend, we can't just throw him away! We have to find a spot for him to stay."

˛⠀*⠀Oh, hell no. Not a chance in hell. Absolutely the fuck not. Whether Marin loved that bear or no, it was not staying in her home until she had a chance to take it apart and do a full safety check. Kazu had only lived as long as she had by being extremely cautious, and she wasn’t about to start slacking now. A happy wife was good, but an ALIVE wife was better. The life they led didn’t allow for risks. It didn’t allow for ‘just this once.’

Kazu’s fingers dug into the plush fur in annoyance. God. She could tell Marin was not going to be happy about this, but she needed to understand that Kazu had these rules for a reason. It was just to keep her safe. To keep them safe.

“Darling…. No. Absolutely not.”

The bear could return once she’d had it fully checked over. Kazu had no problem with it finding permanent residence somewhere in her house as long as she was sure it wasn’t hiding anything sinister. Not everyone had her best interests in mind. Sure, majority of Marin’s fans could’ve been good people. Kazu wouldn’t be surprised, but there would always be a few bad eggs. That was the nature of the world.

“Give it to me. I’m going to have Haruma check it over. You never know what’s in that thing. For all we know, they put a camera or listening device inside it...” Kazu sighed, a hand raising to pinch the space between her brows as she took in Marin’s expression, “don’t look at me like that. You know it’s to keep everyone safe.”

Maybe that was a tad too blunt towards someone who was actively trying to BUY said potions FROM her, but this woman looked…. Kind. Adeline wasn’t sure how exactly to explain it, but her overall energy just seemed warm. She couldn’t bring herself to NOT point out the things she’d chosen were lower quality. “If it’s about price, just…. Pick one thing off the higher shelves as a freebie. It was taller than she was, Christ. How did anyone even get this in here without her noticing the commotion? Sharp green eyes narrowed up at the bears button marked face like its mere existence had personally scorned her. In some way, it kind of had. She’d never taken well to uninvited guests in her home, even those of the fluff filled kind. Could never be too sure of anything in her line of work. Caution saved lives. It certainly saved hers.

Her gaze shifted lazily over to Marin, still holding her hand out towards the bear. “Well? This a friend of yours, or are we throwing his fluffy ass on the street?”
