Happy Indigenous Month! I’m loving that my day started with another parade
Wow, I didn't know this even was a program and I live 2 hrs from Mpls...Good thing to pass along my friends also for the Duluth Area, Trepanier Hall has a lot of Native programs and services

I believe is the scientific term that describes that gross slushy thaw before Spring in Minnesota. You know, when it’s just warm enough to melt the snow berms on the sides of the road to reveal hidden treasures. Like random gloves and other shit the snow plows took out during the winter.
Noojigiigoonyiwe? She went fishing?
Last weekend the husband and I went fishing at one of the local lakes. We had a blast pulling in the crappie! I must say the neat thing about ice fishing is the friendly factor. If people see you catching fish, they will walk over and talk shop with you. I think it’s fine, but I still get a little cagey when people ask me what kind of bait I use....
Yummy yummy! Sir husband was a good hunter this year. Here we are processing our deer a few weeks ago . Look at that back-strap and to-be venison hamburger. My favorite way to eat it back strap or tenderloin is wrapped in bacon with some brown sugar on top. Nom nom!

Elk teeth! I love the scarf addition too. So you know she’s a traditional dancer without a fan. ᎣᏍᏓ!
A good day ice fishing with Gary.

Ehh! Hand augers are the worst! I must say, it makes me feel like a hard core outdoor sports woman when I dig my own ice holes. I’m the perfect wife, I can clean fish AND dig my own holes! Can’t wait to get out on the ice in a few weeks with Sir Husband.
nom nom noms! Some grouse for dinner!
So is it just me or does milkweed seed pods look like elf shoes???

I’ve had nightmares of getting tagged with my fly my back while I’ll alone and no one there to help me. That’s I think , that’s regular fear.

The last few days I’ve been spending a lot of time in the woods. Just trying to enjoy the last week days of fall before it gets poopy here in northern Minnesota
You know one of the coolest sounds I like? Wind rushing through tall pines.
Honey bunny and father-in-law making a permanent stand so mah toesys won’t get cold. Much deer will be slayed this season.
Pulled out the father-in-laws decoys we have been using out of the storage stack and did some paint touch-ups last weekend. Speculum needed some recoloring on most of them(colored wing part).
Duck season is fast approaching in MN so I need to start getting our stuff ready to go so we can fill up our freezer!
I would like to add, and a wonderful cup of lady earl grey and just the right about of creamer.
