Some of you coming here to read this may have hear of something called dysautonomia. What is it? Why does it occur? How is it diagnosed? Who treats it and HOW? Iāve been researching and reading blogs, watching videos, and trying to find others who can relate to what Iām currently going through. Looks like I'm dreaming of spring as it snows endlessly on the west coast.
I painted this moai with acrylic paints on a canvas board today and I swear he's looking at me.
I found a great salve recipe and it saved my dry hands. Equal parts (I used two tablespoons of each cuz I have a small jar) grated beeswax, olive oil, coconut oil, and ten drops essential oil. I used lavender.

Tiny Tuna Muffins: Giving is an important part of what the holidays are all about! Our pets (probably more than anyone else!) definitely deserve to be on the receiving end. So why not cook up a little treat to offer your best fluffy friend! These Tiny Tuna Muffins will not only make your feline happy, but they are also a great little snack to share together!
Ingredients: 1 can of low sodium flaked *tuna in water Ā¼ cup of all purpose flour Ā¼ cup of grated cheddar cheese 1 egg Coconut oil for brushing (or you can use a non-stick cooking spray)
Method: (Makes about 10 mini muffins) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F). Drain the tuna and add it to a mixing bowl with the flour, cheese and egg. Mix well. Using a mini muffin tin, grease 10 of the muffin cups with coconut oil (or a non stick cooking spray). Fill the greased cups evenly with the mixture. Bake in the oven for 18 - 20 minutes. Let cool, top with your catās favorite kitty treat and serve!
Note: When using cans of tuna, only purchase tuna with pure ingredients (tuna and water) and no added salt or preservatives. Tuna in Olive Oil can also be a good choice as long as it is well drained, rinsed and also does not contain any other additives or salt.

Butter Tart Squares:Ā Wikipedia refers to butter tarts as āone of Canadaās quintessential dessertsā. Similar to sugar pie, they have a pastry shell, filled with sweet gooey buttery filling thatās semi-sold and VERY rich! Canada is the birthplace of this delectable treat! During the holiday season itās almost a patriotic duty to offer up these tasty little pieces of Canadian History.Ā
*Note: The amounts reflected below are for 1 batch of squares.Ā We doubled the recipe in this video to make 2 batches (one with raisins, one without).
Ingredients: BASE Ā½ cup butter (softened) Ā¼ cup brown sugar 1 cup of All Purpose Flour
FILLING Ā¾ cup brown sugar Ā¼ cup butter (softened) Ā½ cup corn syrup 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp of All Purpose Flour Ā½ tsp baking powder Ā½ cup raisins (optional) Method: Preheat the oven to 350ĀŗF. Lightly grease an 8ā x 8ā baking dish. For the BASE:In a large mixing bowl, add the butter, brown sugar and flour. Mix with a fork until mixture is a crumbly dough. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.For the FILLING:In a large mixing bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Cream together the mixture with a whisk or an electric beater until it is smooth with no lumps. Pour the filling over the baked pastry base. If using raisins, sprinkle them evenly over baked pastry base. Pour the filling over the raisins. Bake for 25 - 35 minutes (or until filling is set). Let cool and cut into squares. *Note: You can easily replace raisins with chopped pecans.

78/80 and people wander why social interactions tire me the fuck out. My friends joke that I can usually tell what theyāre feeling before they can. Itās also why I tend to avoid the news or sad films or war movies or anything with bullying or underdogs because my body reacts as if Iām in the film, adrenaline kicks in and I get sweaty and I just want to help the character out.
