A collection of short oneshots about Jax and Rogers relationship in 2015, after the first Delta Green mission and his divorce. Jax is 21, Roger is 43.

Chapter 1 - See you later, Kiddo.

This is one of a couple Rax aus other than the first/main one! I love making aus to put characters in situations

Putting the characters in situations time. I'm gay as hell about Roger and I love a good age gap

"Honey, I really don't wanna be here..."

Jax whines as they move forward in line to a large club, one Honey is a regular at.

"You know I just wanted to work on my game tonight."

"C'mon, it's your 21st! You gotta do something big!"

Jax just groans as they finally reach the front. The bouncer is huge, and Jax immediately feels small compared to him. He has on aviators, but Jax feels like he's glaring at him.

Part of him is glad there's good security, and part of him wishes he didn't have to face him.

"ID."

He says simply, staring at Jax.

"Oh!"

He digs it out of his pocket.

"Yeah, sorry. Don't know why I didn't already have it out."

"S'alright."

He doesn't seem annoyed, which Jax is thankful for. He stares at his ID with his flashlight for a bit too long, and Jax is almost scared he won't let him in.

Eventually he nods, handing it back to him.

"Have a good night."

"Uh...thanks."

Honey pulls him inside, but he can still feel the bouncer's eyes on him.

They sit in two empty stools at the bar, and Honey orders them both a dirty sherly.

"What's a dirty shirley?"

"Something you'll like."

Jax is quiet for a second, before saying-

"I think the bouncer was staring at me."

Honey waves her hand.

"Nah, you're just paranoid. It's your first time at a club, you don't know your way around!"

She pats his cheek, and he just groans and rolls his eyes.

They sit and chatter for a while, Jax sipping his drink and Honey ordering herself another while Jax is halfway done.

Eventually she gets up.

"Gotta go to the bathroom. Watch my drink, yeah?"

She doesn't give him a chance to answer before she's walking away. Jax keeps both drinks close to them, making sure no one can reach them as he plays on his phone and chews his nails.

Suddenly, he hears a voice behind him.

"Hey."

Jax gasps, almost jumping out of his barstool as he spins around.

"Fuck!"

"Sorry, sorry..."

It's the bouncer from the front door? Jax has to blink a couple times as he stares.

"Didn't mean to startle you."

"Uh…"

Jax adjusts his glasses.

"I-it's okay. Are you the um. Bouncer? From up front?"

"The one and only. Noticed on your ID it's your birthday. Mind if I buy you a shot?"

"Oh!"

He hesitates, glancing at the bathrooms, before nodding.

"Uh- sure. I don't drink much though, so only one."

"Henry!"

The bartender looks up.

"A shot for me and the lady."

Jax pipes up.

"I-I'm actually a dude."

The bouncer stares at him for a second, and he's worried he's ruined the moment. But instead, he smiles.

"I like your style."

Jax snorts, giggling at his answer.

"Alot of people don't. I'm-"

He thinks, knowing it's not the name on his ID, but it's what he's gone by for years.

"Jax."

Roger sits down in the stool next to him, where Honey had been sitting.

"Roger. If you don't mind me saying, you don't seem like you're having much fun."

Jax sighs.

"I'm not. I've never been to a bar, and I don't think I'm gonna come back..."

He remembers Roger works here.

"No offense to you of course!"

Roger waves his hand.

"Nah, don't worry. I don't like this place either."

The bartender sets two shots down in front of them, and Roger downs his in one smooth gulp. Jax hesitates though.

"You alright?"

Roger asks, and Jax nods. He picks up the shot, downing it as fast as he can.

He coughs, shaking his head at the taste and quickly taking a sip of his other drink to try and get rid of the taste.

Roger pats Jax's back playfully.

"Downed that like a champ."

"Thanks..."

"I gotta get back to work, but how about I see you sometime?"

Jax hesitates. He's obviously older than him, and much bigger, but he feels himself nodding. Honey had told him to meet people...

"Yeah, sure."

He says, sounding nervous and excited at the same time. He has friends, sure, but had never felt pursued first like this.

Roger hands him his phone.

"Put in your number."

Jax quickly types in his number, and labels himself 'Jax from bar'

"See you later, kiddo."

Jax's face immediately flushes red.

"O..o-okay!”

He walks away, and Honey slips back into the seat next to him after another couple minutes.

Jax is tempted to tell her, but decides it's for the best he doesn't yet. He doesn't want to get anyone's hopes up before he talks to him again.

Chapter 2 - What's your drink?

Roger accidentally hurts Jaxs feelings, so he gets him a drink.

Two more fics for this series are already on their way 😈 I can't stop writing about Rax I love them...

Jax shivers as he tucks his scarf further under his chin and hugs his coat a bit closer. He had expected the train to be warmer than the outside, but the heat must be broken. 

It's finally fall, which is usually his favorite season, but it's been ridiculously cold. Just his luck.

As he presses a new CD into his player, he relaxes into his seat, sighing softly. He stares at the setting sun, and instead of dreading work like he usually does, he's excited.

Roger works on the same night shift as him, and has been for the last couple weeks. Jax was put off by him at first, his size and questions making him nervous. But after getting to know him a bit, he enjoys his company more than any of his other coworkers. 

He learned fast, and didn't leave Jax to pick up the slack. Jax always had a bit of anxiety about working alone at night, but having Roger around has made him feel much safer.

As he sits, though, he can feel his mind wandering. He finds himself watching Roger every chance he gets, studying his aviators to try and get a glimpse of his eyes, getting the urge to adjust his messy hair poking out from under his hat.

He shakes his head, stepping off the train while trying to dispel the thoughts. He's way out of Rogers league, and he knows his dad wouldn't approve. Even if he did shoot his shot, working with him would be much more awkward when Roger rejected him.

He pops out his earbuds when he walks through the gas station doors, immediately seeing Roger behind the counter.

"Hey, Roger!"

"Hey."

He pulls his scar off, tucking it into his saddle bag.

"I'll be back in a second."

He says like he always does, walking to the back.

"I'll be here."

He slips on his hat and adjusts his ponytail through the hole, pushing his glasses back up his nose as he walks to stand beside Roger. He rubs his arms, trying to get the goosebumps on his skin to leave.

"Cold?"

Roger asks.

"Yeah. My trains heat was broken, so I was stuck in the cold."

"How far away do you live?"

Jax thinks for a second, pondering whether he should tell Roger the truth, but he decides it doesn't matter much.

"About an hour and a half if I walk all the way, but it only takes about 30 minutes by train."

"Hmm."

Roger hums, looking out of the gas station doors.

Jax stands there, picking at the wounds on his fingers from his biting.  

He's never been very good at starting conversations, but he decides to try since Roger has gone quiet.

"Do you uh..have any plans this weekend?"

Roger shakes his head.

"I don't do much. Probably just uh...hang out with Jimmy. Have a few drinks.”

"Jimmy? Who's Jimmy?"

"Have I not mentioned him?"

Jax shakes his head.

"My bird. Got him a couple years ago."

His eyes light up.

"You have a bird?! That's so cool! I've always thought they were so pretty, but I don't have the energy for one."

Roger snickers.

"Yeah, he's sweet."

Roger starts to say something else, but stops himself, instead saying-

"You uh…doin' anything?"

"Oh, I have a game with my friends."

"Didn't take you for the sports type."

Jax laughs, adjusting his glasses as he speaks.

"Oh, I'm not. I'm into TTRPGS. Y'know, DnD?"

"I should've expected."

Jax seems a bit put down by his answer, his laughter slowly tapering off as he says-

"Uh...yeah."

Roger seems to notice his change in demeanor, and roughly pats his back, making him jump.

"Just messin' with you."

Jax nods, not completely convinced, and Roger thinks for a second, before leaving the counter.

"Roger?"

He walks to the drink section and calls over his shoulder-

"What's your drink?"

"Huh?"

"Your drink. What do you want?"

"Uh..I usually drink Mtn Dew, but you really don't have to-"

Roger is already grabbing the drinks, walking back over to the counter and handing him his bottle before cracking open his own can of beer.

"Roger!! We're on the clock! You can't-"

"It doesn't count if they don't catch you, right?"

Jax hesitates. Usually he's a goody-two-shoes, but with Roger around, it feels easier to break the rules a bit.

Finally, he sighs.

"Fine. But if we get in trouble, I'm telling them it was your idea!"

Roger snorts, taking a gulp of his beer.

"You do that."

Jax rolls his eyes, but snickers as he takes a sip of his soda.

He rests his arms on the counter, and Roger has to force himself to look away. The way his back is arched a bit, his piercings glittering in the harsh gas station light, nibbling the skin off of his lip..

He can feel his cock getting hard in his jeans, and quickly turns away.

“Be right back.”

He sets his beer down, trying to sound casual.

“Duty calls.”

He speed walks to the bathroom, locking the door behind him as he sighs, very annoyed.

“Son a bitch…”

He awkwardly adjusts his jeans, struggling to find a way to hide his erection enough that Jax wouldn't notice if he looked. He doesn't have the time, or desire, to jack off in his work bathroom.

Once he's done, he flushes the toilet and washes his hands to make his lie believable.

When he walks back out, Jax is already talking with a customer, so Roger just slips behind the counter to stand next to him, hoping his slight blush isn't noticeable.

Chapter 1 - Awkward Beginnings.

This is the first chapter! Things may be a bit out of order, and I'll also be posting separate oneshots, so look out for those!

This chapter is their first meeting, and Roger already catching feelings like the creep he is

If you saw this posted already NO YOU DIDN'T. Originally this was a one-off, but I wanna make a big collection of oneshots relating to their relationship/how it starts/how it blossoms! There will still be one shots separate from this, mainly when he's shipped with Roger AND Vicki, or when it's just an nsfw thing with no plot. (but there might be some NSFW with plot in this work, but it will be tagged, so watch out!)

“Jaxis!”

Jax looks up from his book, slipping a bookmark between the pages and tucking his game notes back into his bag.

“Yeah?”

He asks as he stands up, walking to his manager's voice.

“There's a new guy, and you're the only one who can train him. Is your break over?”

“Umm…”

He's nervous. Jax has never been particularly close with his coworkers, especially new people, and he's never trained anyone.

“Yeah, it is.”

He follows her to the front of the store, tightening his hair a bit and adjusting his hat.

The manager stops in front of a huge man, standing over Jax easily. He's wearing large aviators, but Jax can feel him looking at him. He has on a chunky bomber jacket, and his hair pokes out a bit from under his hat.

“Hi-”

Jax starts, but the man interrupts him.

“Name's Roger.”

He says as he holds out his hand. Jax grabs his hand, and cringes a bit as he squeezes.

“J-”

He snaps his fingers with his free hand, trying to ground himself.

“Jaxis.”

The manager pats Jax’s shoulder as she walks away, leaving him alone with him.

When Roger pulls his hand away, Jax scratches the back of his neck as he starts to talk.

“I-it’s nice to meet you! Huhh…Have you ever worked at a gas station?”

Jax tries his best to hold back his stutter, but doesn't do a very good job. It's always been bad, but especially with a man like this standing over him.

“No.”

“Alright! Let's see…”

He looks around awkwardly, trying to figure out where to start. He forces himself to sound cheery, using his customer service voice.

“Lets go around the store first, yeah? I'll show you where everything is.”

“Lead the way.”

Jax starts to take him down the few aisles, pointing out the different things that need to stay stocked. As they reach the employees only door, Roger speaks up.

“So this is where the cleaning stuff and inventory is-”

“Did your piercings hurt?”

“Huh?”

Jax looks confused for a second, before reaching up to adjust his nose ring.

“Oh! A little. I don't have a very good pain tolerance.”

“Why'd you get ‘em?”

Jax shrugs.

“I like the look, I guess. My dad doesn't like the nose ring, but, y'know. Who cares?”

He snickers, and Roger stares for a second before speaking.

“I like them.”

Jaxs face flushes, and he stutters a bit as he says-

“Oh- t-thank you! I uh…appreciate that.”

He clears his throat.

“Anyway-”

He keeps going, trying to will away the blush on his cheeks. They end up back behind the counter, and he starts to show Roger the many buttons on the cash register and what they mean. It doesn't take much for Roger to understand the buttons, tucking away the knowledge easily. After about five minutes Jax finishes his explanation, and Roger takes the opportunity to make conversation.

“Do you like it here?”

“Eh..it's fine. Pays the bills, y'know?”

Jax leans over the counter when he finishes talking, scanning the lot for any cars. It's a night shift, though, so no one has come in for a while.

Roger takes the chance to stare at Jax, scanning his bright red hair tied in a loose ponytail, his thick glasses, and his gold piercings. He doesn't know why he's making his heart flutter, but he has to force himself to look away once Jax stands back up.

“I prefer the night shift. Less people, and that people that do come are regulars. I get along with customers pretty well.”

“You seem uh…easy to get along with.”

Jax looks away, nipping a bit of skin off of his thumb as he says-

“I try.”

Jax tries to think of a way to complement him back, but he can't think of anything that wouldn't make him sound even more awkward.

“What made you move here?”

Jax asks as he looks back at him, hunching over a bit to lean his arms on the counter.

Roger stares at him for a few seconds, making him feel uneasy.

“Sorry if that was-”

“Life changes.”

Is he all he says, and Jax hesitates a second, before nodding.

“...I get that. Sometimes you just gotta get away.”

“How long have you lived here?”

Jax thinks, counting the years he's been here.

“I moved here when I turned 18, and I'm 21 now, so three years. I got my apartment pretty much as soon as I turned 18.”

“That desperate to leave?”

Jax chuckles a bit, before taking a deep breath to steady his breathing.

“Yeah. Long story.”

He hopes Roger won't pry, and relaxes when he changes the subject.

Roger makes most of the conversation, Jax answering awkwardly and trying not to show his anxiousness. When people come in, Jax has him watch how he checks people out, and near the end of his shift tells him the general expectations when it comes to cleaning the store.

Roger watches Jax leave when someone comes to relieve him from his shift, noting his saddle bag with a dice design on it and the flannel he had slipped on. He can feel his chest getting tight as Jax waves goodbye to him, walking off as the sun slowly rises behind him. Roger tries to focus the last couple hours of his shift, but his mind keeps going back to that awkward smile and bright hair. He's unique, and even though Roger has never been with a man, he knows this feeling.

Jax hums to himself, mumbling the lyrics of a random song stuck in his head as he carefully takes out his new tongue piercing. He cringes as it slips out, shivering at the still-fresh wound.

He carefully cleans it with a small cotton ball, squinting his eyes at the slight burn.

He looks up when he tosses the cotton ball away, seeing Roger standing in the doorway.

“Roger?”

He asks, who walks in and gently grabs his chin.

“How's the new piercing doing?”

“Good.”

Jax leans into Roger's hand.

“Hurts to take out and clean though.”

“Oh yeah?”

Before he can answer, Roger lets go of his chin and gently pries his jaw open with two fingers. Jaxs jaw immediately pops from the force, but Roger keeps going till his mouth is hung wide open.

Jaxs face flushes, but he doesn't move. Despite the slight ache in his jaw, Roger knows when he's gone too far, and right now, he can tell how much Jax is enjoying himself.

Drool is already running down his chin and coating Rogers fingers, but it just encourages him. He starts to rub his fingers against Jaxs molars, making him groan around his fingers. He reaches behind him, gripping the sink as Roger starts to push his fingers deeper down his throat.

“Hurk-!”

Jax gags, and Roger pulls back just enough to avoid making him throw up.

“Careeeful Jax. Don't want you to hurl.”

When Jax nods, he takes it as a sign to keep going. He digs his thumbnail between Jax's gap tooth, and traces lines on the roof of his mouth and his gums. Jax is trembling, his thighs squeezed together as he struggles to keep his breathing level. He scrapes his nail against the roof of Jax's mouth, and he starts to bite down, but Roger's fingers keep his jaw open.

“Does this hurt?”

Roger asks as he finds his tongue, pinching down on the small hole where his piercing goes.

Jax gasps, whining as he roughly massages the wound.

Jax tries to speak, but it comes out as a garbled groan. He white knuckles the counter as Roger starts to dig his nail into his tongue.

“You're bleeding.”

He says, not sounding bothered. Jax is starting to cry, the taste of blood coating his lower jaw.

He tries to say something again, but Roger digs his nail deeper to shut him up.

After a few seconds of roughly working his tongue, he slowly pulls away his fingers, letting Jax gasp and struggle to catch his breath.

“Fuchh..”

He mumbles, the drool filling his mouth and his now sore tongue making it hard to talk.

“You alright?”

Roger asks, and Jax nods as he huffs and wipes the drool from his face.

Jax has worked for Delta Green longer than Cody, and has gone on actual field missions. She mainly worked on cases about cults and things of that nature, but on one mission managed to get captured by one of these groups. The face scar is from her initial struggle trying to get away from them, and the scar on her arm is from them slicing her open to drain her blood for the rituals/whatever you wanna call it.
