OMG I ADORE YOUR GRANT PARK SET!!! when i saw it i was like “no way this is grant park as in grant park, atlanta” and then i saw the grant part little sunshine home sign you made!! i can’t believe you included that!! that’s going on every build i make/download from now on, lol. just wanted to stop by and say how cool it is to see my city represented in cc!! hopefully i can live in grant park on day for real, lol. :)

When I first moved to Atlanta, that's where I lived - a quadplex on Loomis that was insanely tiny, but was very cute. When I was looking to buy, there wasn't an outhouse I could afford in GP, so the next best thing was making CC to sate my desire for a house with those features. I ended up with a house that I needed, but I will always appreciate that craftsman bungalow style. Happy you found my little set useful!

Holy shizbot fiends. I just found a major fucking booboo on the wall panels from L&D! Do you see it? Do you see where they screwed up the bevel on the short swatch? It's like that on 4 of the 12 swatches. I almost never play with short walls and only found it because I was making templates of these panels so I could use wallpaper in the middle of them. Should be a simple fix but..damn.

Edit: I fixed them. I will release them tomorrow because I want to make a stand alone and override version. Also test them so I'm not handing out more messed up crap lol

Hi everyone, I haven't been posting on tumblr lately because I have been sick and also working on a lot of stuff - like learning python and making my spreadsheets better but I felt this was important to post.

It has come to my attention that wcif.cc - that new search engine that popped up for finding sims 4 cc - has stolen their directory of creators straight from my creator spreadsheets. It's my hard work that I put countless hours into creating and updating and I had months of work that was ready to be put out this month, but I've been set back by this because now I have to take measures to protect my work from people like that who rely on webscraping to do their dirty work.

Yes, I may be old school in pouring in the labor - but it's the best way I know to make sure the information is detailed and accurate. And for someone to just scrape that information without any credit or recognition is seriously infuriating.

The evidence is pretty clear to anyone who has seen my spreadsheets, but for comparison here are examples:

No one else has detailed creators lists like me, and I know this because I put in the work and have looked at countless mod and creator recommendation lists by many, many other people. What inspired me to make my lists was actually the cc notion list from sunny's resources - their was was outdated and had a lot of creators that are no longer making content, so I decided to make my own.

If wcif.cc had actually reached out to me for a collaboration or even given me credit, it would be a different story but they decided to just use webscraping and steal all of my hard work instead.

I put in the work to check out every single creator on my lists, I have look through all of their content and do the math to figure out their early access times, especially if the times are not stated clearly. I look through each and every creator to see what type of content they make in order to even put together the specialties columns. I use my own pattern recognition from my brain to see not only who the popular creators are but who the underrated and new creators are so they can hopefully get some visits to their pages because they deserve for their hard work to be seen. This is all done WITHOUT chapgpt or AI of any kind, because I refuse to contribute to harming the environment and real people for something like sims content.

If you care about integrity and honesty then please stop using or supporting their janky ass search engine and I hope you'll instead support me when my own website with my own searchable and filterable creator lists goes live and beyond my spreadsheets.

German Romantik Paintings by Caspar David Friedrich - a cc Wall-Art set by moonwoodhollow

This set of 5 paintings was my Witching Hour present for this year's Simblreen, and I'm happy to finally release it for everyone!

Caspar David Friedrich (1774-1840) is one of the most famous German romanticism artists, his most famous painting (not included, sorry) is the Wanderer above the sea of fog.

The textures for these paintings are 1k, which is why they are a bit larger in size.

The number of swatches refers to the actual number of different motifs for each piece (e.g. the paintings with 12 swatches have actually 24 swatches, but these include 2 different coloured frame versions)

Almost all items are available in both light and dark wooden frame versions (separate items in 2 cases)

If you were one of the Witching Hour downloaders, there's a new painting included that wasn't part of my Simblreen gift. Please redownload the whole set, as I also made some mesh changes (thank you, Anne @surely-sims for your help <3)

Trying to put energy into something for my favorite season - the brutal heat has relented and the windows can be opened to refresh the house.

It's been a terrible year with relentless bad news both private and global. That didn't stop with the Sims - EA has sold out and a message must be sent. I'm not signing a useless e-document, I'm not writing a terse letter. I speak with my wallet and YOU. CAN. TOO. I will not be a part of their future earnings. May they collapse in the debt they are banking on you paying off.

I will not be moving forward with this game. I'm not even interested in getting future whatever free as that shows others it's a EP/SP/GP/Kit worth getting. It's not. I own these games and I am okay with playing the game and sharing my basegame wares with people. I make no money and it will not require money to be spent to use my creations. What you play today is yours. Enjoy it. That said - stop investing in it. Turn to the community for their creativity instead. Don't spend one more penny with EA. Hit them where it hurts NOW. Make EA a very undesirable purchase.

I'm looking backwards. I have a new computer with a ton of space. I'm exploring S3 and I might show up in your ask box for help when that time comes. I have never have a 'porchlight' for the season, but my worn spirit thrives this time of year. Look for something - something small.

I'm inexperienced when it comes to CC making so dont expect the quality to be like that of EA or some of the more talented modders. I am planning to make a similar version of this cc using other shirts as a base.

I spaced and did not follow up on this. No more groaning and cursing for this guy.

The lovely @omgcoffinfit promptly created a fix for this offensive duo from the Poolside Splash Kit to quell my CAS woes (even created a little video to show me how shockingly easy it is to to).

Now you, too, can put offensive CAS items on mute. Townies and future Residents will no longer spawn what offends you with just a little effort.

As for this gruesome twosome above - please download - the zip has individual file as well as a merged file for both gender archetypes.
