Historical CC - Jam-Packed Picnic Basket (Requires Cottage Living)

Sometimes, a Simple Living recipe calls for Jam ingredients, and I just can't be arsed to do a bunch of Canning before I start my dinner. Other times, I want a single jar to give to someone as a gift, or as a snack to tide me over when I'm busy doing chores. Enter my latest creation: the Jam-Packed Picnic Basket!

HOW IT WORKS

Click on the basket and choose "Select Canned Good". Your Sim will walk over, pick up a jar, and put it in their inventory. All 22 in-game options are available. Preserves taken from the basket will have Normal quality.

For people who don't have Cottage Living (or who don't want objects with custom tuning in their game), I'm also including a décor-only version that's basegame compatible. CHOOSE ONLY ONE, as the files conflict!

NOTE: As mentioned above, this item contains custom coding and may break after an update. Always keep content like this in a separate folder, so if something goes wrong, the likely culprits are all in one place.

It bothered me that these weren't full wall-height, so I fixed it. Separated the curtains. Then I recolored them all. I even finished my knock-off Cordelia palette. Previews etc. below.

Known issues: The curtains sort of stick to windows but it's tedious. In fairness, they were designed to fit in the arches, so they're more like wall-curtains. But they work.

Base Game Addon, Part 4 - Public Release!

Hello! ✨ My (second) biggest addon ever is now available!

While this set focuses on expanding various build mode categories, there's also a couple of buy mode additions as well!

I've added three new fence sets converted over from debug, complete with matching gates, as well as some additional foundation options. For something different, I also converted some brick & wooden flooring options into terrain paints. As weird as it sounds to have wood terrain paints, they can be used to create some nice effects! There's also a new "floating" staircase available, which looks very sleek in any modern home!

As for the buy mode additions, one thing that has always bugged me was how there's a couple of bar-height dining tables in a few packs, but none in base game... I have fixed this issue, and have created bar-height tables for practically every table set in base game!

Additionally, two-tile and one-tile wide options have been created for the dining table that was included in a past event. Event completion is not required for them to function. I also decided to include an edited version of the base game outdoor spa that no longer has the roof attached to it, making it more versatile. (I was never really a fan of that roof)

I have separated every single bed and bunk bed in the game. I've added mattresses where needed, converted mattresses to top bunk mattresses, and made 95% of it BGC! Details and download under the cut

~ Override versions will override the original bed with the FRAME. You will need the corresponding pack for this to work.

~ Some frames could not be made BGC due to transparency issues.

~ Mattresses with extra pillows have a version 2 that are the standard size with no extra pillows. The originals were often too long for many frames but not all, so instead of replacing, I made both.

~ The camping cots mattresses have 2 versions: v1 is the original, which fits well with the cot frames and v2 has an included mattress so you can use them with regular frames.

~ The textures from the Teen Dreams bed was added to the Mod Pod bed because they're the same mesh.

~ All package files have either BGC or the pack required at the front of the file name.

~ All mattresses are BGC. Most frames have a BGC version. You can use both the BGC version and the overrides, but I don't know why you'd want to. I did it for about a minute and it drove me crazy.

~ All mattresses are $25. All frames (including bunk bed frames) are $475, except the cots and one or two ratty frames which are $225.

I think that's everything you should know! If you have any issues, please tell me so I can fix it!
