New Blog!!!!

Considering my main blog hasn't been used in a solid 8 months, I decided to finally make a new one. This one is for my Murder Drones content, and one for my Omori content will be coming eventually.

My main account, @caramelizedout , will not be used for anything other than liking posts and the announcement post discussing the transfer. From this point on, this post is about the new blog and the expected content.

If anyone is coming from my main, hi!! I promise I won't forget about this one. Newcomers, also hi!!! The content I plan to post mainly revolves around mine and my friends murder drones OCs, whether it be our DD team or our sonas. Their lore will not be explicitly discussed in each post, only tidbits and the basic information. For more about them, you can check my toyhouse!!

A community for collaborative character creation and trading, worldbuilding and roleplay.

Aside from OC posts, this blog will also be used to reblog other murder drones related posts, and maybe discuss news, theories, and new episodes (assuming more than just episode 8 will come out while this blog exists). Individual posts will have the necessary warnings placed before everything else.

But, I've talked enough for one post. In theory, this one will be maintained and actually used. I can't say I'll post frequently, and certainly not every day, but I will post. Either way, I'm happy to have you guys here!!

Hi mutual of mine reblogged this crusty thing and I've decided this is a great opportunity to reveal that I am working on another one!!!! Same general concept with the puppet stuff but different song and updated lore (mostly, started on it before episode 8 which will have brief mentions here so avoid spoilers guys!!)

So yes it's about Cyn and her relationship with the AbsoluteSolver again...... Theory is pretty much dead after what happened in episode 8 (rip my favorite little goober 💔💔) but I still have headcanons okay!!! It wasn't not confirmed just..... Not confirmed either......

Anyway I don't want to say too much so you guys will actually watch it but I will stay the song I'm using is Breaking My Bones by Friday Pilots Club!!!! Was gonna be a 1 year anniversary for the original here but I'm not even halfway done yet and September 3rd is fast approaching so we'll see ig

OC Posting #6 - New guy the 37th (Reference)

Okay so maybe me and my friends have made another DD oc trio..... and maybe they're all gay for each other again...... but they have different lore I promise guys don't leave/j

Guys look are you proud I finally made a female character that isn't a sona/j Except I didn't want to draw those dumb female DD legs so she's actually trans MtF!!! Her two squadmates (and partners) are K (owned by @/z0mb1eloz3r) and 7 (owned by emmie) except 7 didn't exist when I made this reference so I need to fix the pocket sorry gang

She was based off of my drawing tablet which has a bunch of cat and rainbow and plant stickers so those are her special interests, she uses her smarts and stealth almost exclusively for stealing stuff relating to that that she likes (and also mass genocide but shhh)

Her lore is a work in progress but emmie has an oc named Klue with like a billion viruses or smth idk so instead of being infected with the AbsoluteSolver she has the S3R1AL S0LV3R!! Well past worker drone P does anyway the virus is dormant in current P.... All the info on the SS is linked on her toyhouse page if you want to check it out it's really cool!!!! Her symptoms will be explained when I design her worker drone self!!

OC Posting #5 - Orion!! (Reference)

As promised in my last boy best friend reblog, I bring a new OC!!!! I was forced to complete yet another trio and I brought a chronically tired, yet again disabled character in classic "I can make them worse" fashion sorry gang (I'm not sorry 🥰🥰)

Most of his lore is written on his page on my Toyhouse, CaramelizedCat, but I'll summarize some stuff here.

Orion is 16, goes by he/they pronouns, and is best friends with his cousin Nova (owned by @/z0mb1eloz3r) and a chaos gremlin named Angie (owned by Emmie)!! When he was 10, a murder drone broke in and fired a missile that nearly killed him and his mom, but both survived (I chose to be nice and leave his parents alive for once). His mom is paralyzed from the waist down, though.

Aside from the scarring and replacement arm (that isn't gay Finley he just wanted to make it look pretty!!!!!/j), he's also deaf on his left side, and sustained core damage that leaves him constantly tired and struggling with a lot of physical activity. He does have PTSD from the attack, as well.

In conclusion I love him a lot and hopefully won't forget about him like I did my MD sona thank you for coming to my TEDtalk/j

OC Posting #4 - The Missing Arm Gang + F (Mini Comic!!!!)

Warnings for this post: Depictions of blood (oil), depictions of violence, referenced character death, these poor guys suffering a lot (sorry)

As mentioned in the last post, I've been working on a comic with me and my friends' characters for the last 2 weeks. And today, I finally finished it!!! It's been a very serious labor of love, and I hope you guys like it. R is the one with gray and purple eyes, X1 is the one with red and gold eyes, S is the one with a yellow and blue eye, and F is the one with blue and pink eyes.

This comic centers around X1's death and how the other characters are handling it, especially the second page. The first page is mainly about R's relationship with X1, as she's the one who accidentally kills him, and she leaves F and S afterwards.

(These have been put backwards for some reason, so check the title to see which part it is first!!)

This comic was inspired by a Tumblr post I saw regarding "Shelter dog character", as referenced in the title of the comic. I won't be @ ing them in this post, as I doubt they care about a comic with some silly drone OCs that uses what they wrote. But I will put a picture of the post below!!

OC Posting #3 - S, X1, and R (Full Piece)

To tide you guys off until I finish the comic (which will hopefully be out later this week!!), here's a redraw of an older piece I did about how The Missing Arm Gang got its name!!! This was supposed to be in a set of 3 but as you can see that fell through....

Some of you have probably noticed this is my banner, and I'll admit this was done earlier in the month..... I was gonna do all 3 together when I finished them, but I dropped them in favor of the comic.

And here's the older piece!!! Old designs for R and S and everything.... I did this back in November of last year on my phone. I've gotten a tablet since then, thank god LMAO

OC Posting #2 - S (Doodles)

Warnings for this post: Bright colors on one of the drawings, beware for those in dark rooms with their brightness cranked up!! As per usual with this character, there's a mild depiction of scars in one of the pictures, as well as bandaged injuries.

Bit strapped for things to post today as I've been drawing mainly Omori things lately (To which that blog will be made later today!!!), so I got together some slightly older doodles of my boy S. You can see them below the cut!!

Two out of the three of these are memes, and the other is a pfp I made using a generated color palette as a challenge. Had to do the obligatory "it's pride month you know what that means" meme for the month of June, and the one where he's been arrested is actually for an AU called Disassembly Dungeons. That one was from the Barbie and Ken in jail meme, and the Ken side was drawn by Finley using X1.

OC Posting #1 - S (Reference)

Warnings for this post: Depictions of scars, very mild depictions of blood (oil, in this case), mentions of violence and disabling of a character, Spoilers for Murder Drones (especially episode 6)

To start off proper posting, I'd like to introduce my main Murder Drones OC, S!! To make things easier for casual scrollers who couldn't care less, his references and basic info will be below the cut.

The general information is written on the ref sheet itself. To elaborate, though, the four arms and antennae come from his design inspiration, a mud dober. The "second gen" DD comes from the idea that the AbsoluteSolver is a learning algorithm and would correct the original designs over time, which is why he looks a little different from the DDs in the show.

S is also the pilot of his squad, which is why he's wearing a fighter pilot jacket. Each badge was inspired by the typical badges on a regular fighter pilot jacket, with a blue and yellow theme.

These last two are alternates showing off the damage he sustained from the sentinels down in the labs, the reasoning for his blindness and missing arm. For more information about that event, you can check his toyhouse page!! The basic story, though, is that Finley's character X1 wanted to explore the labs and S went with to keep him safe, though they both ended up getting jumped by sentinels.

That about wraps up S, though he'll certainly be appearing quite frequently in my other posts. You can see my friend Finley's blog for stuff about his best friends X1 and F. R's creator doesn't have a tumblr from what I know, but she is linked on S's toyhouse.
