no because this is the first time heart is getting to interact with another person who is not his parents, after a LONG period of time which felt like a whole eternity to him

he's waiting for li ming to come. he's restless

he wanted li ming to call him. he wanted li ming to get his attention. yes he is acting cool but damn that cool is too cute

he definitely finished eating long ago. he just wanted li ming to notice the dirty dishes

"Ah you want to wash it yourself?" HOW PROUD HE IS TO DECLARE THAT! it's so clear that he craves validation and praise. he could have done it before li ming arrived but he waited for him to arrive and see him at work.

ive rambled to some of my friends endlessly about msp, so they essentially know the whole plot (with missing parts cos my memory is bad)

and one of these friends said a thing to me today after I rambled a little bit more, and I’d like to share it cos it was an excellent insight into Win and his character from an outside perspective, and I’d like to know if anyone else agrees with it

“knowing nothing about the canon other than what you’ve told me, I feel like win is super insecure about his own feelings - possibly internalised homophobia, I don’t know how exposed he’s been to gay people in the canon - so him doing the ‘my heart doesn’t beat for you but I want to’ is him being like ‘this is crazy, I need to make sure that you aren’t joking and that you won’t just run away’”

guys, this man just ruined our whole career. without even seeing the show, barely knowing what the characters even look like, my friend has analysed win so deeply I feel like im looking at his organs displayed before me.

I also had this thought before. We never really see how homosexuality is viewed in the show, and i must confess that i don’t know much about how it is viewed in Thailand.

But i do think that maybe Win doen’t really get his feelings yet because they are for the same sex. I kinda read Sound as gay and being somewhat aware that he is. Maybe he had a crush on a guy before.

While i think that Win only had crushes on girls before. So regardless, if he has internalized homophobia or not, these feelings seem really new to him. And maybe that scares him so he doesn’t really know how to interpret it. Like when the medal kiss happened he just seemed so confused while walking away but glancing at Sound.

Also, this might explain why his heart doesn’t beat fast for Sound, which he expects to be necessary to be in love. In the show, we see him being very comfortable around guys, feeding his friends and beeing physically close to them. While we never see him interact with girls, so i think he just doesnt hang out with them much. Also supported by never having flirted with one. So he probably gets really nervous when interacting with them, especially in a romantic context, resulting in his heart beating fast. Which he then associates with romantic feelings and romantic/sexual attraction. But with guys he doesn’t feel that insecure so he is not experiencing that.

So his romantic feelings for sound express themselves in different ways, more in how he wants to be close to him and wanting to care for him, and maybe also in the goosebumps he mentionend last episode.

But these are just my thoughts on this. But i’m really interested what other people think about this as well!!

@ashedddaisy and I came to the conclusion a while ago that Win is so so hard to read and we really don’t know what’s going on with him or what he’s thinking at any moment.

Would love to see Win sharing his thoughts and opens up as to why he thinks or feels a certain way about something.

Hmmm maybe this will come into play in the coming scene where he and Sound have an argument…

We have seen Sound’s most vulnerable side and thoughts already. Now is Win’s turn!

I find it interesting because we have seen the heart beating fast in Tinngun and Sound.

Tinn was enjoying the closeness he had found with Gun in his last year, a dream come true and excitement. Gun was scared and afraid everything was in his head and to allow himself loving a new person having known what it feels like to lose someone.

Sound was worried of his differences with Win, that seems to have been his main worry and as Gun helped with advice, he seemed to relax after that.

Win almost seems as a natural with Sound, anxious with competitions, anxious with unknown places, anxious with Girls as he doesn’t interact with them frequently. But Sound is someone he knows, understands and accepts.

Sound belongs to his band, his safe place, a group of people whom he loves and they love him back, why wouldn’t he show closeness with Sound? And so, Sound was the one who put the label of “Love” on their situation, and Win wants to understand that bit better. Because being able to reciprocate feelings is indeed an important topic in relationships, but they may need to figure out that you don’t need to feel the same physical and emotional reactions as your partner to call it love.

And it’s the way he confronted sound because he does have the perception of “if heart beats fast, that’s love” and he said it was obvious sound’s song was for him, he understood that Sound was feeling love, and he kept on caring for him even after that, as if going all out noticing things, taking care and others would be even more natural after knowing Sound was indeed feeling something.

But let’s see how does sound manage to get Win to feel👀
