Studying drama theory for a Shakespeare course – I'm enjoying expanding my knowledge of the subject, theatre has been a recurring theme in my studies lately, to my own surprise. The Bai Mu Dan white tea provided me with a delighful little session – its elegant notes of rose, citrus, and butter creaminess were balanced by a hint of wet or decaying wood, like a rain soaked forest, that matches the cloudy weather outside my window. Oh, and an extremely sugary and buttery slice of loaf bread to the side. Nice days.

Quotes from my tea tasting journal with no context
“I keep saying ‘it’s not my favorite’ and then taking bigger, greedier sips like a fucking liar.”
“…with a very strong aftertaste that lingers in my throat so long I should ask it to start paying rent.”
“Safe to say I will definitely NOT be gifting this to anyone.”
“I’m burping orange peel flavored burps right now, though.”
“I am drinking goddamn tree bark right now. I definitely can’t say I hate it, though…”
“How the FUCK do they put these flavors into literal leaves?”
A nice cup of tea, made with love.
What’s your preferred cup of tea? I like to keep things pretty varied, but I always have at least one big cup of mint tea x
