Although they were finally at the casino and ready to go find their missing demigods, Leda only hoped the news she discovered on the way there wasn’t obvious to Barry. She tried to put the thought away until after the quest was done, but she couldn’t help realizing she’d have to be extra careful now. She pulled an arrow from her quiver and loosely held it to the bow, ready to separate from the group. She looked over to her boyfriend and smiled slightly. “Ready for this? It shouldn’t be too hard, right?” she smirked.

Barry was scanning over the crowd of people, while also keeping an eye on Leda so they wouldn’t be separated from each other as they left the group. Green hues flickered over to her when she spoke, while a slight laugh was escaping his lips. “Ready as I’ll ever be. Hey, maybe they’ll actually coming willingly. But who knows, maybe you just jinxed the whole thing.” He teased, before moving closer to her to place an arm around her shoulder. “Are you ready? All we gotta do is find our missing demigods, and meet up with the others. It should be easy as pie.”

Right now she was outside just in a seat and sharpenning one of her swords.

“Really, only a month or so away? It feels like only yesterday you were telling everyone you were expecting, but congratulations again.” The son of Hephaestus grinned, happy for the Chase-Jackson family. It was also a bit exciting to have babies around, even if they wouldn’t really be able to do anything, but at least they’ll be safer in camp than they would anywhere else.

Leda shook her head. “Don’t say that, you deserve it just as much.” She’d given a lot of thought to this ever since Barry had admitted he was going on the quest, so she took a deep breath to gather her courage. “I don’t think it’s a mistake, those demigods need us. And that’s why I decided to volunteer too. Theo trained me a lot before he left, I think my archery and powers could really help. You won’t be alone.”

“You’re going on the quest as well? Did you tell Lena or Mark, or anyone else besides me about it?” He wondered, before biting down slightly on his lower lip. “But yes the demigods need us, they shouldn’t be trapped there like they are. I just don’t know if they’ll actually wanna leave, I mean they’ve been there for a while, so how can we even convince them to leave the casino?” Barry questioned, knowing that it’ll be a hard task to deal with, but also knowing that they’ll be saving lives as well.

Second, you didn’t need to get me anything, you are already giving me the best gift I can ever ask for.” The words were honest, especially about the gifts since he told her every year she didn’t need to get him anything. “Thank you.” Percy spoke, before even opening his gift and kissed her back quickly. The next thing he did was open the gift wrapped box, and open it to see what was inside. His smile grew a tad wider when he saw the chocolates, before pulling one out and tasting it. The son of Poseidon lightly gagged at the taste, even as he finished up the piece he was eating and going for a second. “These are great, wise girl. Where have you been hiding these chocolate making skills?”

“Sorry, did any of it splash onto your dress?” Victoire questioned, while grabbing napkins from the table next to them, just in case the girl’s dress ended up covered in punch. “I’m clumsy, so this was so my fault.
