The chaos wasnât something she was used to. Although living in Atlanta, Elena felt she should of been by now. Everything was up in arms after the shooting and the Mayorâs statement and Elena quietly wondered what this meant for the future of the clubs. Not really paying attention, the woman sat at the nurses desk filling out paperwork from a surgery she had just finished when a shadow fell over her. âIâm sorry but if you need help, the information station is down the hall.â She said not looking up.Â
âVery kind of you, but I donât think the information station likes your weird ten-to-one cream-to-coffee ratio,â he noted, passing her designated cup off to her. Despite how weird it was not hearing his own voice, he tried to accommodate the others around him to the best of his abilities. He appreciated when others made the effort, but he was also good at reading lips. Reading Elenaâs was his favorite pastime. âBut, hey, what do I know? Some people are full of surprises.â
