30" x 40" black and white poster for the film adaptation of "Dutchman"

The main theme that I got from the film was Al Freeman's character having an identity crisis. The first half of the film he is poised and educated, while the second half of the film, he is challenged by another character (who happens to be a pretty white female), played by Shirley Knight. She antagonizes him with racial slurs and stereotypes until he eventually believes them and starts to act accordingly. A subtly powerful and insightful story from the 1960s.
