joonxki:
“you’re so bossy, aren’t you, noona?” he frowned, and his face was enough to tell joonki was mocking her. he’s not a man who minds losing, but he thirsts for winning, someway, somehow. as joonki watched dohee pack her things, he realized that maybe he could still dig for something inside her, if he’s not leaving with a deal at least. after all, he does enjoy turning people’s heads around. “and harsh. you’re also harsh. don’t you think i could be a nice person to work with?” he’s an asshole and he knows it, but joonki actually likes being so. where’s the fun when everythings’s perfect? “if you think your job could be replaced by pepper spray, maybe i really shouldn’t have asked you.” he clicked his tongue and adjusted his posture, not leaning on the door anymore. checking the watch on his wrist, joonki let out a quiet chuckle. “i think you’re way too late for your little ciminal minds session now, by the way.”
‘ how observant. ’ it’s true; dohee had a tendency to be bossy, but that’s just the way she was raised to be. controlling, have a handle on anything and everything she could so she could minimize the chances of something going wrong. she was also taught to know when she couldn’t be in absolute control ( and how to plan accordingly in those situations ), but that isn’t the case tonight. the woman’s already lost interest in this whole interaction, only fueled by the fact that she’s definitely missing tonight’s criminal minds episode. ‘ no. ’ she answers with deadpan honesty. people have a tendency of registering her as a harsh person. if being honest makes her harsh, then fine, she’s harsh. something tells her her answer isn’t a big surprise to him anyways. ‘ ah, i’ve just run myself out of my job. that’s unfortunate. ’ she sighs with disinterest, taking one last look at her bag to make sure everything’s in before slinging it over her shoulder. ‘ ----i can catch the rerun. ’
