I have changed the name and branding of this blog to make it more of a general location for all of my creative work.

This wont change too much in the long run, I’ll still be posting my art and comics mainly, but now I’ll be sharing stuff about my writing as well. Life is chaotic but work on the comic continues nevertheless. Been feeling a little. . .targeted recently.

For a second there I was kinda getting nervous and thinking, “is my comic just going to end up looking really dumb and childish and poorly drawn and blah blah blah,” and then I colored this freak and it was like I saw my own vision again for the first time.

I should never doubt my own genius/stubborn idiocy.

Started coloring the weird and wacky city my comic takes place in. My goal was to immediately burn out everyone’s retinas and I think I’ve pulled it off.

I Have No Mouth, But I Will Smile Anyways.

So, I finally saw The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. And while I won’t say it’s perfect, I think it was a very touching and satisfying conclusion for the entire series. I definitely recommend seeing it, especially because it’s important to support independent animation and storytelling that doesn’t follow the same old Disney tropes.

Maybe it’s “cringe” to even like this series now. Maybe most people have been put off by the online noise, but I don’t give a flip. This is the most I have enjoyed a show in a long time and it felt AMAZING to actually NOT be let down by a property I got invested in.

So to Glitch, Gooseworx, and everyone on the production team, thank you for the fun ride. And to all the leakers out there, GET BENT. You didn’t spoil me! Muhahaha!

Been a hot minute since I've posted, but as you can see, work on my new 20-page comic is going quite well! I haven’t decided on a name yet but I’ve got a few standout ideas I like.

Still, if a weirdo action comic that's like if Spy vs. Spy was mixed with Salvador Dali and imbued with the manic energy of a Wario Ware game sounds appealing. . .
