Everyone saying this is Mike turning out like his father but isn’t it a duffer brothers self insert?, because it’s said he’s writing what happened to them with this ambiguous ending but wouldn’t that mean stranger things is written by Mike. So wouldn’t his character really be the duffers?, I remember reading a book about the making and they said they had a friend group similar to the one in the show which in turn might be why they can’t write Mike to be gay?.

(Does this make sense or am I completely off base??)
