I love our new steampunk/antique/vintage style floor lamps with Edison bulbs that I found online & just had delivered! Our new Montana house has lots of barn wood, hammered copper, and a very unique style with lots of vintage steampunk, rustic, fixtures already (like the sconce in the powder room in the first pic) which I love & I am running with that style vibe (in most rooms) as I decorate. I found the hand towel/soap holder in town at a store that sells handmade items made by local Amish communities. I still need to get a plant in that planter in the last pic, and lots of other goodies, but slowly but surely things are coming together. ✨❤️💡🏡🛋🏞🌲✨

I'm so excited to have found another deer skull on our property! This one was mysteriously sitting up on a tree branch... Since this property has been vacant for many years I'm not sure how it got up here. I'm also happy that this one is a bit more clean than the last one I found. ✨🌲💀🏞✨

Coco is officially a Montana kitty! It's so nice having her here and she is already very at home and seems happy to be here. She was mostly an indoor cat in Tahoe, but I would let her in the backyard sometimes and she would spend hours out there and never jump the fence (I think she is still grateful for being rescued as a kitten & doesn't want to risk anything), so I didn't worry about her getting eaten by a coyote or bear... But there isn't a fence around the whole property here yet & I want her to be able to enjoy being outside here sometimes too. So eventually she will have a special fenced kitty area because there are many more predators here and I want to keep her safe... Until then I think she is enjoying exploring her new house and hanging out with the pups. ✨💗🏞😺🏡💜✨

I'm so excited that I finally got the dresser & mirror that I ordered months ago! Little did I know that the furniture delivery people only come to my area once or twice a month because it's so remote... So a few weeks ago it was supposed to be delivered but the delivery guy called me on his cell from down my road saying that there was no way he could make it down the long dirt/gravel road to my house ~ which I couldn't believe since we have had many deliveries here and drove our huge motorhome down that road... So I called his boss and said "This is Montana. If your drivers are afraid to drive down a dirt road in a delivery truck they probably should not work in Montana." He apologized and said that the guy was new/nervous & he would send his best drivers here in a few weeks... So today the most amazing delivery guys ever finally delivered them, with no problems (even when going up 2 flights of stairs with a narrow turn) and they were so sweet. If I can walk around in my crazy heels on my dirt road then delivery drivers should be able to drive a truck over my dirt road. And yes, my mattress is still on the floor because I haven't found the perfect bed yet, but hopefully soon. ✨💜🏡💪🏼🏞👠🔮✨

It went from a hot 95 degrees & sunny yesterday to a cool 65 degrees & stormy today... And I definitely prefer the latter. I love seeing the leaves beginning to change to their warm autumn tones, and seeing glistening raindrops everywhere. ✨🌧🌿🍂🍁🌧✨

Flowing with the magical full moon vibes as the storm clouds fade from their bright pink & lavender colorful apex into a deep charcoal grey, only allowing the brilliant moonlight to peek through every so often. My magical yoga practice tonight was done with the intention of connecting with the aquarius moon vibes and allowing them to guide my movements and breath towards balance, openness and playfulness. As I move from standing tall and strong in tadasana, mountain pose into natarajasana, lord of the dance pose, I begin by feeling my weight evenly distributed and then gently shifting onto my right foot as I lift the other, grasping it with my hand. As I lift my sole towards the stars I'm opening my heart to the moon, feeling the love with every breath. It's a beautiful night to let go and have a some fun, to move your body, relax your mind, free your spirit... to connect, to open your heart to what your intuition is calling you towards and leave what isn't right for your best Self in the past, creating a new beginning through letting something fade away. ✨💜🌸🌌🌕🌩🔮💗✨

I found this beautiful, huge "wild" apple tree in the forest... I'm grateful to whatever Rocky Mountain pioneer threw their apple core here years and years ago, and of course I'm grateful for finding it. It will be awesome to come back to pick a few ripe wild apples next month ✨💚🍏🌳✨

I just took Luca & Lucy out for a sunset hike... Which would be pretty irresponsible without some form of protection since there are bear, moose, elk, and someone was killed by a bear not far from where I live a few weeks ago... No gun this time since it was a semi-short hike, but I definitely had my trusty Lioness ✨💗🐶🐶🏞🔪🦁🌄✨
