okay i really have no reason to be talking about this but i’m going to anyway lol. first off, i am down with the RPF, i think it can be funny and fun and it’s existed as a part of fandom for probably as long as fandom has been a thing. that being said, there NEEDS to be boundaries. and official, verified social media accounts doing it? that is crossing the line. you are not a fan account, you are a brand, and doing that shit in a place where the REAL PEOPLE you are talking about can and will see it is incredibly unprofessional and imo should be classified as harassment. rpf is great as long as it exists in spaces separate from the people it’s about!!
