Summary: You tell your chat during a stream that your boyfriend doesn't place his bed next to yours in minecraft. And one slip up accidentally reveals your relationship to the whole world.
A/N: mcyt!reader is something I've been wanting to do for a while won't lie and we all seen that video with oscar and the amazing ldshadowlady(lizzie) so yeah. Reader is Australian purely because I wanted some pearl cameos lol. And any photos you see from minecraft aren't mine, definitely not my builds. I just took screenshots from Gem's hermitcraft S10 episodes and of her base(though the Grian one is from his episode). I am unsure how the creators feel about fanfics but I figured they aren't the love interest or necessarily the main plot(just for cameos) that it'd be okay. And if not then well this wasn't gonna get a part two, and I could always change the names around and change the graphics.
Since this is partially a smau the fc is Inde Navarrette. I've known her since Superman & Lois(I disliked Sarah sometimes... but now though I understand her and I like her) so seeing her career blow up is just astonishing, it couldn't have happened to a better person. "Pearl," You clicked your mouse, hitting her in the game.
"Ah," Pearl exclaims. "Stop creeping up on me like that, mate. You scared me."
You chuckled, "We have the locator bar now, cmon, and you know I'm always gonna bug you."
"Mhm, and what build are you procrastinating now?" She asks, knowing you too well.
"A skull," You answered, "And I come with news."
"Oh, some news?" Pearl turned her character to look at yours. "Do tell."
"I started a fresh new world with Mr. Koala." You inform her.
"That sounds wonderful," She comments.
"But he refuses to place his bed next to mine." You rolled your eyes, "Just blantly refuses."
Pearl couldn't help but snort at your words.
"It's not funny, Pearl. It's a serious dilemma." You whined.
"That you desperately had to stop building for and tell me?" She laughed.
You glanced over at your chat.
Some laughing alongside Pearl and a select few agreeing with your sentiment.
"Of course," You scoffed, "It doesn't help that he's gone all the time, he's almost always sleeping cause of his job."
"Oh, yes, yes." Pearl nods in game.
"Anyways, I'm gonna go back to building the skull." You hit her in game, "Okay, bye."
"Oh nuggets," She mutters. "Bye."
You flew away on your wings.
A chuckle escapes your lips while reading the chat.

"That's a great question, I've been really loving her new album." You continue to fly over the horizon. "Probably honeybee or u plus me equals a heart forever."
The chat came rolling in at your answer.

Before sighing as you leaned back into your chair.

You say your farewells to your fans and turns your setup off.
Leaving your office, you're greeted by your sleepy boyfriend in the bedroom.
"There you are," He reaches for you.
You crawling into the space beside him.
"Here I am," You kissed his head.

You didn't realize it until it was too late.
The views came rolling in.
The dms number kept going up.
You quickly deleted the story.
Feeling embarrassed.
And stupid.
Oscar had just walked inside the door after another practice session.
He loved having you yesterday along with your friends.
He knew even more about minecraft with their knowledge surprisingly.
However, you couldn't go to this one as you had to finish editing a hermitcraft episode.
"Heard you posted something online about me?" Oscar got into the bed beside you.
"Osc, I'm so sorry." You apologized, "I thought I posted that to my close friends."
The man in question, rests beside you.
His face in the crook of your neck.
Seemingly not caring.
"It's alright," Oscar mumbled.
"Alright?" You turned to look at him, "We're gonna be plastered on every sports page."
"We can deal with the fallout later," He tilted your head away from him.
Allowing to him snuggle if possible even closer to you.
His phone started to vibrate next to him on the nightstand.
"Aren't you going to get that?" You ran your fingers through his hair.
He shook his head, "Probably just spam."
The buzzing stopped for a moment before restarting up again.
Another call.
No way was that spam.
"Wanna answer the phone now?" You scratched his head.
Oscar groaned dramatically before picking up the phone.
Missing another call.
His eyes widened when he saw the number.
"Important?" You crossed your arms.
"Important," Oscar sighed.
You got up and exited the room, giving him privacy.
"So much for later," Oscar grumbled before answering the phone.

You could barely get through the front door.
When your phone had starting buzzing.
You checked it and a smile grew onto your face.
That didn't go unnoticed by your friends.
"Oh they're smiling," Tango chuckles.
"The boyfriend is calling," Gem teased.
You ignored Gem and Tango's teasing gestures.
Headed into a bedroom to answer the call.
"Hey," You sigh.
"How's Twitchcon?" Oscar asked you.
"It's good, met so many fans today." You answered, truthfully. "They were so nice."
"And how annoying are your friends now that they know we're dating?" Oscar says.
You could practically hear the amusement in his voice.
"Bad," You chuckle softly. "Gem had asked me numerous questions about F1, Grian and Jimmy just want to meet you so they can meet Lewis."
Oscar couldn't help but snort in response, echoing the quietness of his hotel room.
"I have a hermitcraft panel tomorrow," You tell him. "No doubt I'm gonna get asked about you."
"You could always avoid the question," Oscar hums in acknowledgement.
"Well that's the thing," You rolled your eyes, "I'm not PR trained like you."
"You're not." Oscar agrees, "Your fans do need to know. It'd be best if they heard it from you."
"You're right," You nod. "Anyways enough about me, how did your day go?"
"I qualified in 4th," He informs you.
"Well that's not bad," You reassured.
"I know," Oscar sighs, "I just know I could have been better."
"You did the best you could today," You sat down on the bed. "That's all that matters."
"I suppose you're right," Oscar goes quiet for a moment. "How did I get so lucky with you?"
You smiled shyly, he could almost see in his thoughts.
"It's not luck, it's pure chance and fate." You tell him.
"I love you," He tells you.
You repeated it back immediately.
"Those words just hold me," He murmurs. "Gives me your warmth everytime."

Especially when it's to make me seem less than him, or to diminish my personal accomplishments and my career, reducing everything about me to just being his partner. Oscar was on your phone, since he was an f1 driver he was currently away in China.
Face timing.
You had just finished explaining Grian's horrible day on the server.
Oscar couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Covering it up with a cough as his co-workers stared at him with curious look.
"Who are you talking to?" Charles asked.
He didn't want for an answer as Charles peeked over Oscar's shoulder.
His confusion quickly turned into glee.
"Oh hi," Charles waved with a big smile. "Alex said to call her back when you can."
You chuckled, "It's already on my to-do list, just finishing small bits of editing."
Charles nods and waves again, leaving the frame.
"He's so weird," Oscar murmured.
"And you technically work with him," You glance at your phone to look at him.
"Yeah well-" "Oh hey," Max entered frame.
"Max, hi," You greeted.
"Max, go away." Oscar nearly whined, "I'm busy."
"I know," Max sat down next to Oscar, "I'm not here for you."
You had a stifle a laugh.
Leave it to Max to be brutally honest.
Oscar sighs and handed Max his phone. "Make it quick."
"How do I win the game?" Max asked.
"You have to kill the ender dragon, Max, we've been over this." You typed on your keyboard.
"But how?" Max insisted. "I do not see a dragon anywhere in my world."
You sighed, "Did you find the stronghold? Or even enter the nether?"
Max has never looked more dumbfounded by your words.
"You have no idea what I'm talking about," You pinched the bridge of your nose. "Do you?"
"No," Max admits sheepishly.
It was then that Oscar arrived back.
You looked at Max, "I'll send you a video, Max, don't worry about it."
Max nods and sends you a grateful smile before handing the phone back to Oscar.
"What was that about?" He immediately asks.
"He wants to beat minecraft," You adjusted your headphones, "Obviously."
"Speaking of minecraft," Oscar adjusted his hat, "How is our world doing?"
You sigh dramatically, "Probably collecting dust since you're too busy."
Oscar frowned, "I'm not busy tonight."
You perked up in your gaming chair. "Really?"
"Really," He confirms. "I'm all yours tonight."
"Correction, you're mine everynight." You scoffed.
If you weren't too busy editing.
You would have noticed the way Oscar's cheeks were now tinted in a dash of pink.

You opened your drawer with skin products and sighed. There were so many bottles that it made you wonder why you have so many things. Some of them you never even used, just bought and they were standing there.Β
You found all the needed things and promised yourself to clean the drawer when youβll have time. It was summer so you had plenty of time but you didnβt feel like wasting that time for cleaning. Itβs for university time, you muttered to yourself.Β

βItβs aloe vera. Itβll help you with the sunburnβ You told him.Β
When John was laying in the bath, you washed your face and clipped your hair away to put a sheet mask on yourself. You were sitting next to the bath and keeping him company.Β
βI donβt know whatβs in this mask but itβs doing miraclesβ John told you.Β
βGlad you like it because it wasnβt a cheap oneβ You joked.Β
βIβll buy you a hundred moreβ John said with closed eyes and you laughed.
15 minutes went quickly and you took off Johnβs mask from his face. He took it as a sign to stand up and finally leave the cold bath. You handed him a towel and took off your own mask.Β
βWhen you dry yourself, Iβll put aloe vera on youβ You told him.Β
βYouβre a goddess womanβ John kissed you.Β
You started rubbing the aloe vera on Johnβs shoulders and felt tired. He was a tall guy, way taller than you so reaching the top of his back was like a workout for you. With a big sigh, you stood in front of him and started applying the lotion on his chest. John was looking at you carefully, how your hands were roaming his chest and arms.Β
βYou can apply it by yourself on your legsβ You stood on tiptoe and kissed his cheek.Β
You grabbed the bottles and took them back to the drawer but you werenβt done. You took out different ones to take care of Johnβs burned face. You threw them on the bed and waited for him to join you.Β
βLay on the bedβ You ordered him.Β
βOkayβ John had a cocky smile.Β
βWeβre not having sexβ You rolled your eyes. βI need to take care of your faceβΒ
βAww manβ John was disappointed but all you did was laugh.Β

You sat on Johnβs waist and put a cleanser on his face. His eyes were closed and you were rubbing the product into his face. Next you took a serum and warmed it up in your hands, before applying it on his face. Lastly, you took a face cream with spf to get him a little ease in the pain.Β

βThank you, I already feel betterβ¦ and prettyβ John stole a kiss from you.Β
βYouβre always prettyβ You looked into Johnβs eyes.Β
βSaid a walking goddessβ John replied.Β
βFeeling better?β You asked him.Β
βYeah, I donβt feel like Iβm burning. I donβt know what magic you did but it workedβ John put a hand on your hips.Β

John laughed loudly when he heard your words. He knew thereβs nothing funny about it but he imagined you being all red because of being irresponsible in the sun. It was even more funny for him because you were always telling him that he needs to be careful and he had printed those words in his mind because you repeated them so many times this summer.Β
