He who has long abandoned the reigns of love for the pursuit of knowledge hasn’t expected to hold such affectionate feelings for you. A person whose interest is only piqued on studying and who only operates purely by rationality, falling in love was out of the image yet it still happened.
Like a sprout of warmth that lingers in his chest when his eyes graze on the knowledge that he seeks, the feeling of happiness and belonging whenever he is with you that he only dismisses as that feeling of what friends—close friends would feel around each other. Not until that sprout soon grew and bloomed, it was an understatement to say this was only the mere feeling of joy.
Those feelings of warmth soon became fire in his chest that burned his heart at the thought of you, its heat slowly making its way to his face and resting on his ears whenever he talks to you. Now, he hasn’t abandoned his search for knowledge, it's just that this chase was only directed at you.
At first, it only started as stolen glances at you which sometimes lingers then the persistent seeking you out in the crowd or anywhere he goes even if it's somewhere far away and you being at that place was just simply impossible. He then eventually finds himself making reasons to call for you or visit you even when it's just the smallest of things.
“A pleasant afternoon.” Alhaitham greeted you as soon as you opened the door. His visit wasn't a surprise but it was unexpected as he would visit you from time to time and would often warn you beforehand but this time, he didn't.
“Good afternoon to you too, Alhaitham. What brings you here?” You greeted him and asked. There was the expression of shock on your face before it disappeared and was replaced with a smile. Alhaitham stared at your face, specifically admiring your smile so he took quite a long time to respond. He cleared his throat, gaining his composure before he spoke.
"I was merely just walking around and recalled that your residence was nearby. Perhaps it's also because I haven't seen you after a long while that's why I came to visit." He replied with a stoic expression as usual. At times like this, you wish that he would show a bit of emotion so you can tell what he is thinking. It's just hard that despite his brutal honesty, you just can't seem to tell what goes through his head.
“I see, would you like to come inside then?” You opened the door wider, an invitation for him to come inside, whilst you wait for his response. He simply nodded and replied, "If you don't mind."
As he was about to head and walk inside, he stopped on his tracks and exclaimed, "Oh, and before I forget, please have this. It's a flower I bought from a merchant that came from Mondstadt. It was by chance that I stumbled upon them and remembered that the flowers I had bought you last week might have withered already."
Handing you the freshly bought bouquet of white flowers— Cecilias—, you accepted it and immediately caught the comforting and sweet aroma the flowers are giving. For a bouquet that has only been bought, it looks like it was prepared for a long time and costs quite a lot. Nevertheless, you didn't comment about it and only replied, "Thank you, that's really sweet of you, Alhaitham."
Strangely, from your own perspective, he seems to be much more talkative and nice to you.
The small yearning of knowing what your laugh sounds like especially when it is caused by him. But he who has been branded by a certain someone to have a bad personality due to his honesty and straightforwardness can’t just simply make that happen. Alhaitham has never, not even once in his life, thought of cracking a joke just to make someone laugh because he wants to hear them so. However, it still occurred. He didn’t crack a joke yet he managed to make you laugh and archons above, he swears it was one of the most—or probably the most beautiful sound he has ever heard in his life.
The feeling that he felt when he heard you laugh can't be compared to that feeling of discovering and getting ahold of what he seeks after a long time of pursuit.
He longs and yearns for you, to simply hold your hand without any reasons and not settling with just accidental brushing of skin. He wants to know the feeling of your fingers intertwined with his, to see you tangled in his sheets, and connected with his soul.
He wants to know everything about you and everything isn't just what your favorites are but what you would look like adorned with flowers and white.
He wants to get ahold of you not in a way that he does with his simple and mere interest of knowledge but as his everlasting promise and life. What he felt was just not the mere feeling of want, he knows that.
But Alhaitham wasn't a man who was easily satisfied. For him, it was never enough for him but it's not like he can do anything about it. You two were just friends and maybe, maybe it will remain that until he makes a move.
Maybe the time will come for him to confess his feelings but for now, he’ll just let the fire consume him for a bit.

Blizzard’s note: I kind of rushed it at the end but I just wanted to get it done and over with. Part 2?
The crickets chirps aloud in the middle of the starry night. Your presence wanders in the forest as your footsteps crunches the little rocks and vegetation scattered beneath your feet. You duck down when you see a giant cobble web in front of you. Without these fireflies dancing mid-air, the stars would be the only source of light as you walk through the forest. Finally, you hear the sound of water running.
“Where did he go?”, a groan escapes your lips as you make your way to the river. He was supposed to come back earlier today. He promised you. You understand he’s a busy person as he is the leader of the forest rangers and an avid botanist but it’s been so long since the two of you actually spend time together.
You breathe out an unhappy sigh and stare at the ground. It must be his research regarding the mysterious mushrooms growing out of nowhere. It’s been leaving natural creatures unconscious or worse, demise. He told you about his presumption that it might’ve been a genetically mutated mushroom that blows out gas out of protection. Mushrooms are never harmful, but in this case, breathe too much of it, then you’ll be a goner for sure.
That’s why you’ve been careful as you saunter your way to the river. You laid your eyes on the rippling water. You could see the reflection of the moon. It’s so beautiful that the thought of him left your mind for a straight second. You shake your head.
All of a sudden, you smell a familiar scent. Your coyote instinct starts kicking in. That’s his scent! Without hesitation, you make haste along side the illuminated water. Animals and insects jump to the side and hid in bushes just before you approach the place of their previous position.
However, you slow down and your big ears flickers. Your brows furrows. Even though, you recognise his scent, you sense another smell that you are not accustomed to. Your heart starts to beat rapidly and you clutch your shirt.
‘What is this smell?’
A moment of silence steps in. If you can smell his scent with this other scent that is making your heart beat uncontrollably then that means...
A quick gasp leaves your lips. You hurriedly rush to him, smacking vines and branches in your way. The smell becomes more intense the more closer you get to him. Sweat starts forming on your body. You pinch your nose and grimace at the smell.
Immediately you swing your backpack from your shoulder. You untie the bag and fish through to find a handkerchief. You know it’s not enough to filter the unpleasant smell but an attempt should always be made. The cloth was folded and tied around your head, covering your nose and mouth. You carry on.
As you amble cautiously, you catch sight of an orange glow further in the forest. You sniff again only this time you recognise the smell of smoke. You feel apprehensive. It can’t be. But then you hear someone coughing.
“Tighnari, Is that you?!”, you call out. You hope that he can hear your muffled cry. Then you hear a painful groan and that is all it takes to push your way through the smokes.
Luckily, you see him, but he’s kneeling with his head hung low. The air is too smoky to barely see anything. You swiftly took off your cloth and tie it around his head without uttering a word. Tighnari looks up at you in shock and tries to speak but was unable to because of the rag.
“Come on we have to get out of here, the trees are on fire!”, you shout as you grab his belongings. His arm placed around your shoulder as you heave him up. Both of you get out of the situation.
The two of you finally get out of the range of the nasty smoke and smell. He plummets himself onto the ground whilst coughing out. His arms steadies his upper body. You look behind and see the fire eating the trees away. Many animals screech their way out of the fury. Some caught on fire and some had their coats toasted in black. You prepare yourself to go back only to be held back by his hand gripping onto your wrist.
“Don’t go Y/n...it’s... dangerous...”, he manages to choke out. He breathes heavily. He was just preparing himself to walk back to the camp after satisfyingly completing parts of his botanical research. He admits that he was trying to find those rare mushrooms but to no avail he didn’t find any. In the spur of the moment, toxic smell came out of nowhere and here he is almost at the brinks of unconsciousness.
You bend down to him, holding his hand. “I’ll come back once I extinguish the fire, okay?”, you tell him as you stare at your hydro vision. He shakes his head in disagreement. If he’s affected this much, then he doesn’t want to imagine if you never come out alive. You look back again and see the fire growing faster than ever. You detach his grip from your wrist and ran back to the forest. Tighnari makes an attempt to reach out to you. Despite that, a headache pounds his head until he’s left seeing pitch blackness.
Using you elemental energy, you summon your shower burst as quickly as you can. Water droplets start appearing from the Aoe you created, vaporising the heat. Sizzling sound can be heard. You clutch your chest from the sudden strike of pain. You’re breathing too much of that smell. You wonder where it comes from. The least you can do is to stop whatever is causing it.
Pinching your nose, you follow where the scent takes you and right before you is a peculiar looking mushroom emitting gas after gas. You glance at the flower beside it. It’s a flower where you can make flaming flower stamen. With that in mind, you hurriedly cut the mushroom from the ground with a rusty dagger. It finally stops pulsating. Now the fire seems to die down from your burst. Practicing your vision was worth it after all...
You cough again and exit the forest to the river where you left Tighnari. Your vision becomes hazy all of a sudden as well as your heart beating faster. The side effects commences on your body so you must’ve inhaled a bit too much. Groaning, you think to yourself. What’s the worst that can happen?
Out of nowhere, you see little creatures with handmade hats waddling away from the bushes with curious looking eyes. You try to keep your eyes open. Then without even realising it, you meet the same fate as Tighnari. Placing you in a deep slumber.
-
You flutter your eyes open. You trace your fingers beside you as you stare at the ceiling. It feels like you’re lying on padded leaves. Your eyes shift to your surroundings. You only see plain coloured walls; an unripe flower light. You don’t know where you are or why you’re here. You try to get up until something, or someone stops you from doing so.
“Hey! No getting up! You need healing”, you hear an unexpected voice. It was so high pitched that you swear your eardrums was about to pop off. You turn your head to where the voice was coming from. It’s a diminutive creature. It has a straw hat painted in red with a cape in purple and yellow. If you were to draw a portrait of it’s face, there would only be three strokes. Two for the eyes and one for the mouth.
“You take in too much of new mushroom gas. You almost died”, the little one says in rigour. Memories flash your mind. You remember about the mushroom incident now.
“Thank you for helping me but where am I?”, you question lethargically. You admit you’re still weak. You feel drowsier by the second. The mini creature waddles to the small table made out of tree trunk and grind some herbs. Now that you realise, this miniature hut is extremely small and compact. You wonder how you even fit here in the first place.
“Right now, you’re in Vanarana but in a dream”
In a dream? You try to process of what being in a dream really means. And Vanarana. Where have you heard of that name before? Your fingers graze the temple of your head, attempting to soothe your mind.
“...”
Isn’t that the magical place where Aranaras reside in? Turning your head to look at the aranara, you are in disbelief. You almost knock the cup beside you. You are on the edge of your seat and tears rim your eyes. You only ever heard of these mystical creatures from grannies and grandpas who had the privilege to interconnect with them. When as a coyote kid, you would sneak into your parents’ library and grab your mother’s diary that was filled with Aranara stories and snuggle in between your tail to read them. You pray everyday as a kid that you get to meet them someday.
The little aranara gazes at you with gaping eyes and adorably hands you a bowl with a wooden spoon. It’s so tiny that you’re hand is at least double the size of it. Not to mention the spoon.
The aranara points at you and says, “We aranaras are small so I am sorry we don’t have bigger bowls for you. But I hope you like what we made for you”
They made porridge for you. It’s creamy and has a soupy consistency to it. You sniff the steam rising from the fresh meal. It smells divine that you feel like skipping around the wilderness again. You stir the porridge to mix it. With a shock the aranara jumps out of the hut and jumps back in with something in its putty hands. It walks closer and places them in your bowl. Dates...
“We tried to recreate this dish from a recipe in our book. It’s called Sasqu. Handwriting from that book is so nice that we think a nara (human) did it”. Then aranara looks down sadly. With a quizzical look on your face, you ask why the aranara had a sad expression.
“I wish we can remember nara, but unfortunately we can’t...”
The hut becomes so quiet its as if you can hear a droplet falling into the lake. When an aranara exhausts their powers, they forget. You mix the Sasqu before scooping a spoonful into your mouth. You hum with bright eyes and take another bite. And another. It’s delicious and it tastes like home. Though it’s been awhile since you had this.
The little aranara speaks once again with glinting eyes, “Do you like it?”. You nod while your cheeks are full. The aranara walks outside and you can hear other voices.
“Nara likes it!”
“See I told you I cooked it right!”
“Okay fine I was wrong! You did good”
A chuckle escapes your lips as you wipe your mouth. You absentmindedly move the spoon in circular motion. The spoon is so small that you held it with only your index finger and thumb. There’s a little amount left. The aranara comes back in.
“Aranara?”
They look at you, expecting something. You utter an inquiry, “What do you mean when you say I’m in Vanarana but in a dream?”
The aranaras look at each other with guilt swimming in their eyes. They don’t know if they should elaborate further. One of them step forward and chooses to speak on behalf of all the aranaras.
“You’re in a dream because you haven’t woken up in the real world. We’re only here to accompany you in your dreams”, the peach one says putting their hand on their heart.
“When will I wake up then?”, you ask with hope. Again, the aranaras give side glances with solemn expressions.
“We don’t know when nara will wake up...”
Your pupils dilate and fear takes over. “Wait, how do I wake up in the real world then?
“You can only wake up if you’re real body chooses to. But for now, nara’s real body doesn’t want to wake up because of mushroom gas...”
You feel your stomach drop.
So there’s a chance...
you’ll never wake up??

One of the few medics looks after you. Her sleeves are folded, showing her arms with her hands fitted in elastic gloves. She carefully pierces your shoulder with a syringe while gently pushing the plunger with the base of her thumb. She exhales.
Outside your tent, Tighnari stands there waiting patiently with a basket in his grip. The forest rangers and workers continue with their daily routines in the bask of daylight. At times of him being silent, his big ears would pick up several conversations by his co-workers. The men would talk about how they caught a massive fish a few hours ago and planning to make a feast while the women gossip about that one student who cheated the final exam in the Akademiya.
The female medic steps out of the tent with her belongings. She gives a slight nod before allowing Tighnari entrance. She moves on to her next patient.
The fennec fox like man places the basket on your table. He grabs the chair and pulls it closer to your bed. He sits down and immediately his head falls onto the mattress close to your hips.
He lacks energy. A few minutes ago, he also received a shot from his doctor. He has yet to recover from that incident, but he’s slowly getting better. He interlocks his hands with yours and gives a tender kiss.
“When are you going to wake up, you lummox? It’s already been two weeks...”
You sleep soundly with an oxygen mask. Your chest gradually rising up and down. Your skin no longer has that colour of warmth. He rubs your hands that is chilling, trying his best to warm them up.
They’ve figured out why a forest fire occurred. The cause of it was simply because the gas of the mushroom, much similar to any gas, was in contact with a nearby pyro flower. Tighnari just happened to walk pass the mushroom, triggering it.
He’s not one to self depreciate himself usually but till this day, he blames himself for not being wary. His ignorance led to this. You even tried searching for him and was able to lessen the damage done to the forest.
He strokes strands of your hair away from your relaxed eyes.
“They’re with you, aren’t they? The ones who named my kind the Valuka Shuna”, he laughs a little. “You know, I never see myself as a ‘large desert fox’. Well except that one time I believed it as a kid. One day I told my dad to bring me to the desert. I fainted not even a metre in due to the horrendous heat”, he clears his throat while scratching his ear. “It’s not like I cried thinking the Valuka Shuna devolved because of me haha”
He leans back, “Years later, I figured that they aren’t the most intelligent little things. They probably thought that foxes and dogs are the same. We’re both canines that’s for sure but we are not identical”
There is nothing but silence and stillness. He can see rays of sunlight slicing through the blinds.
“If you can hear me, tell the aranaras I said thanks”, he continues to speak, “I’m pretty sure they’ve forgotten since they’ve used up their powers on healing me”
The feeling of dread resurfaces after trying to uplift the atmosphere of his ‘large desert dog’ story. In the basket was filled with fruits and bread. There’s also his research notes. He’s planning to stay by your side for awhile.
Thanks to you he finally has the mushroom you bravely cut off from its roots. He’s heard all of the negatives of the peculiar mushrooms. One of them almost burning down an ecosystem. But a researcher like him yearns to know if there’s any positives to it. For example, what if it has valuable qualities concerning medicine? Would that be a strong enough reason for being able to produce a vicious way of protecting itself? Could it contradict the illness you both contracted? Will it be sufficient enough to save you?
He looks at you once more.
Waiting patiently until the day you finally open your eyes again...
‘The most painful feeling is when a loved one is buried six feet underground, no longer breathing the same air as you. An overwhelm feel of grief is all you’re ever left with now’

Warning: Mentions of death. Not proofread.
Blizzard’s inconvenient note: This one’s a short one! I was sleep deprived so I don’t know what I wrote. One question for all. If you had the chance to grant a new name for the wanderer, what would you call him?
Death...
Why does such topic stabs your heart with a mallet?
Connected both of your palms, you silently pray underneath one of the many trees standing on the deserted island. Orange and red leaves snaps away from mothers’ branches. The wind taking them elsewhere as they follow.
The nameless Wanderer stands behind you with a blank look on his face. He wonders. How do you deal with it? Why doesn’t it anger you when life has taken what’s important to you? Don’t you want to just burn everything down to ashes? Call it a joke?
He finally snaps his thoughts when you gently call his name. The eyes you give him. You show a sense of warmth in them and he despises it. That look of those who used to be by his side. Nothing good ever comes from it. In the end, it’s all a waste. Why even bother?
“Right here is my brother. He was only six years old when he ultimately took his final breath. It’s only been a couple of years but it stays ingrained in my memory”, you said. You don’t tell much about your past to anyone. It’s simply the fact that you don’t trust anyone. The wanderer wasn’t an exception at first. When he opened up to you on the day the both of you were prepared to travel to Tatarasuna, you can’t help but feel a sense of guilt. You would’ve left him at Narukami Island but that goes against the promise you made to the Dendro Archon. Hence why you also decided to unravel your heart before him.
“We lost both our parents to an unidentified disease. I was young and helpless at the time. Almost all of our neighbours migrated, leaving a few to fend in this tarnished land. My brother and I were one of them”
He listens carefully to whatever you have to say. In the end, it helped him push the burden off his chest when he told you about his story here.
“When he lie lifeless on the floor of our home, I can’t describe the emotion I felt back then. I didn’t know whether its grief or...betrayal. I wanted to curse the world for it”
Tears brim your eyes as you speak without a care whether he chooses to hear you or not. It’s not the first time you’ve talked to yourself. Sniffles can be heard. He can only stand and watch you suffer from the memories you recall. He knows how you feel, deeply. In spite that, the two of you handled the grief differently whereas he became the destroyer of the world but you, you chose to be the peacemaker of this wretched world. That’s why you studied hard in Fontaine. To study about the life of human like machinery. Thinking that maybe you could bring your brother back. Thus,
It’s all just a fever dream...
Never meant for reality...
Until you met him.
The first time the both of you laid eyes, both of you knew you wanted nothing from each other. Let alone be near each other. You were brought by one of the sages to abruptly meet with the Dendro Archon. True to her name, she knows everything about you in and out. By scoring first in this years dissertation, you were chosen to study -take care- the former Balladeer, once known as Scaramouche.
The both of you had your petty fights. You’d admit. Mostly started because of him. However that was all in the past. The both of you learnt to set your differences aside and comply what is told.
You study and observe him for the God of Wisdom, while he gets the chance to wander again and hone his new heart. This time not impended by the higher ups belonging to the Tsarita.
You and the nameless wanderer explore far and wide. Immersing in the nature of what you call serene and tranquillity. Without even realising it, whenever he would cause a ruckus, whether It’d be fighting a mob or arguing humans, you start to concern about his well being. You were beginning to care for him...
But unlike your deceased brother, the wanderer is immortal. You wonder if he feels the same way for you. What will happen if you’re no longer in this world? Does your kindness and affection reach out to him? Your body has fallen too deep into the pits of your emotion. Perhaps you wanted to give him the love that you couldn’t provide for your little brother. You didn’t need the same thing happening to him.
The story sounds awfully similar to the boy he met centuries ago that he almost thought your brother to be that boy. But who knows, it could be his reincarnation dealing the same ending in sickness. He never displays it but he does have affection for you. Very close to how he felt for both the boy and Katsuragi. Possibly more unique. It’s just that he wishes to never return back to his vulnerable self. Never. Again.
He doesn’t want to go through a mental break down again...
when you’re gone too...
You turn around slowly after finishing your prayers. He sees your eyes has redden and puffed up from the silent whimpers. His throat tightens at the sight. You remind him of himself and he hates it so much. Why can he conjure an image of himself at your place? For many years, he tried to walk in life as lifeless as he was made out to be. But he feels like a tin soldier who puts their hand on the left side of the chest when they are overwhelmed.
You stroll to the Wanderer and took his hand in your grasp in which he intertwines his fingers with. The two of you continue your journey and face what awaits in the future. A howl of wind blows. Maple leaves dancing around mid air. He glances at you and his heart softens. He too wants to give you love. Something he wasn’t able to do because of the pain that derived from love. He wants to try again. After all, he’s basically a flipped leaf.
And when you’re no longer around, he won’t act the same as a result of his previous action. Instead, he’ll be like you. As kind as you. To love like you, just as much as you did for your little brother. He’ll just accept it. Death comes after life. That’s what mortality is all about.
Ultimately, he’ll wander again in the future. This time as a true lone wanderer without you by his side. Your mere existence becomes a recollection to him. All he can do is move forward in life while you’ll forever be remembered in his heart...

Little note: Pleaaassee my heart can’t take it anymore when I typed this little story out. I was supposed to do a Scaramouche short story but Ayato lives in my mind without paying rent.
A knock was heard before the door slides open. In your hands, you hold a tray with a teapot filled with his favourite Sencha tea. Your slightly weary eyes glance at the well formed head of the Kamisato clan. You sigh.
“Still a lot of work?”
He chuckles at the question. “As per usual. You should know that”.
He continues to paint characters on the scrolls with black ink. You slowly walk closer to him, setting the wooden tray on the table after he’s helped moved some books. You smile at him with a small thanks leaving your lips. As expected, he only gives you a little smile.
Your heart tugs every time you receive his attention. Even if its just a little, it was all a worth while. He’s a man of few words. Well that’s because he’s a man of action and actions speaks a thousand more than just mere talk. That’s what you’ve learnt from someone like him and you grew to appreciate people like him even more.

Well that’s because he’s a man of action and actions speaks a thousand more than just mere talk. That’s what you’ve learnt from someone like him and you grew to appreciate people like him even more.
You carefully poured the tea in his cup. The warm smell of Sencha emits from the steam. Ayato peeks at the tray just as you finished pouring. He looks back at his scroll.
“Where’s your cup, love?”
Your face reddens and you can feel your ears getting warmer. Clearing your throat, you answer “Um I made this tea for you. There should be no reason for me to have one”.
Inside your mind, you cheer yourself up for not stuttering once, Even though you were close to losing it. You swear your heart is about to burst. If you messed up, you would’ve combust yourself to non existence.
‘Calm down heart. Calm down. This is not the time. Must keep professional. But he called me love! How can I not stay calm??!’
You were deep in thought that you did not realise you haven’t respond to him. Ayato notices the change of colour of your face and ears. You look as red as the tomatoes his little sister would harvest. You can’t hide your emotions. Especially from him.
“Y/n come here” he says while patting the space between his lap and the table. You hope he doesn’t hear the sound of you swallowing your spit. The corner of his lips curves with a glint of cheekiness from his lavender coloured eyes.
It’s no false that you despise -love- the likes of him. But nonetheless you reposition yourself. He pulls you closer. Your back touching his chest. His breath tickles the back of your neck. You almost forgot to breathe.
He brought his arm under yours to reach for his cup. He hands it to you. With your eyes wide open, you stare at him disapprovingly.
“My lord, that’s yours. It’s not for me. I-”
“I know. And as your lord I command you to drink from this cup”
You deadpan.
‘I hate you Ayato’
You thought sarcastically. You grasp the cup from his gloved hand and took a sip of the piping hot tea. You feel the warmth travel through your body. Ayato held you tighter. It was a matter of seconds before his fingers intertwined with yours. He proceeds his work and you don’t think you’re living anymore.
“You feel cold Y/n... How long were you outside?”
It’s winter season. The temperature keeps getting colder as the day passes. In fairness, you were outside. More than you should’ve. You were helping out a charity event and there was a problem with the delivery of the required items for the show from Monstadt. However that was done and dusted. Now you’re back home. With him...
He hums after the explanations. His and your fingers are still tangled together. To your surprise, he doesn’t bother nagging at you for being in the cold and because of that you can’t help but take a glimpse of what he’s doing.
Unsurprisingly, you understand after silently taking in the context of his scrolls. He’s hardworking. Just as simple as that. He once told you that people will draw their blades for the sake of tarnishing normal, simplistic lives. Before he’s your lover, he’s a man for his people, his family. He wants everyone to have a home to come back to...
You put the cup back on the tray and turn your upper body around, enveloping him. Your head snuggles onto his shoulder. Your action startles him but he does not display it publicly for you to notice.
“My my aren’t you quite affectionate at this very moment”, he teases you as he caresses your head, brushing his fingers through your silky hair. Actions speaks more than words.
“Shut up...”, you mumble quietly. You place yourself in the comfort of your lover as you close your tired eyes. You can hear his heart beat thumping. Faster and faster... The melody of his heart soothes your mind and soul. Something you’ve yearned for so long.
Without even realising it, you end up falling asleep. Light snores escape your soft lips. Now you delve into deep slumber.
Ayato sighs at the peaceful sight and returns the brush pen to its rightful place. He scans his room filled with papers, scrolls and books. All...of this is...immense amount of work that most of the time he stays up all night. He even goes to places, and doesn’t come home for days, where careful discussions occurs. One blunt and it decides the fate of a larger scale from your careless actions. Even just a mere mistake.
