Beards and Ponytails

Smoking finger tattoo dude’s top bun partition is perfectly placed. The natural volume is great, and the careless do add to the effect. The sides need better trimming though, and the beard needs more length to balance the look.

The thinking dude has his long top - shaved side partition a little too high, high enough to support a Mohawk. Other than that, the beard is solid, and the top bun is very professional with its perfect messyness.

When growing the hair out while still shaving the sides, the partition should be high on the side of the head.  This execution here sits too low on the side of the head, which then results in a lot of hair in an unbalanced ballerina bun. Nice shoes, anyway.

The topbun is actually great. Backcombed without losing natural volume, it is a no fuss manbun. The beard however is too long, frizzy and shapeless and ruins our future together.

The manbun is a little too high, but what really distracts me is the stiff stance that gives away the robot in human disguise.

Right cheek dude has soft hair and a solid beard but the crown is raised too high and the loop around the mun is a practice better left to gymming ladies.

Profile dude has a beautiful and shapely beard and soft luscious hair, but fails in the hair bun department. If you are not a ballerina, you do not get to wear your bun this high, sorry.

Jake Gyllenhaal's low bun is a bit puny but comes with a nice I-don't-care messy do, and I have zero complaints about his solid and well kept beard.

Beautiful soft hair in a no fuss low bun, beautifully trimmed beard. Isn't the gap between the hair and the beard a bit funny though?

Cozy sweatshirt guy's cozy topbun and homey shirt, smooth hair and beard all scream comfort.

beard is very solid, the hairline on the top bun is great, needs the curling edges trimmed is all.

Puffer jacket dude has the best manbun, combed tight enough, jelled just enough, the bun small enough, and low enough, this technique should be taught in schools! the beard is weak around the handlebars, but it's getting there...

Necklace dude has a nice ginger beard, beautiful blond hair, but too many twists in that knot. A simple straight no frills do would suit him better.

This top knot works because the shaved sides are long enough, and the knot is no fuss. Beard looks promising. Is that a ring in the shape of the U.S. or is that a whale? Anyway, nice shades, dude!
