You wonder about why 12 elements? Well the Chinese believe in 7, most people think of 5.

But there are 12, each balanced and formed from one another. Water-Earth-Fire-Air. The traditional four. Each ruling different powers. Ice-Wood-Flame-Wind. The more refined and specific. Mist-Metal-Smoke-Celestial Cinder *best we managed to agree naming* These four are combination of the four traditional elements. E.g Water and Air creates Mist. Each have powers/gifts that are dominant to their domain. But many of these gifts you wouldn't normally equate to that elemental, until you think about it. Each Bearer is a part of one of the elements. 3 are already taken, Smoke, Celestial Cinder and Water. I will discuss their gifts with the potential bearer of the element in question.
