The woman confused her, Vi couldn't process why though. Something about her wasn't like the scientist or other humans. She didn't smell like prey either, all humans had this scent that made them smell sweet, like her favorite treats back in Zaun. A sweet aroma of sugar and cinnamon. this woman though, she smell sweet yet also swirled with the salt of the sea. As if she belonged to it as well. Her eyes gazed over her small form, she looked so fragile and weak, and Vi knew all she had to do was press her claw into her stomach and she be dead in seconds.
The moment she started to stir, Vi immediately hid. Why? A part of her did not want to scare her any more then she already had. She literally just eat the entire crew, no doubt she would try to attack her. Not that it would do much, but she needed to understand why this woman was different then everyone else.
The ringing sound echoed through the air, remembering her screaming not to eat her. No, Vi wouldn't, her stomach remained full from the rest of the crew, and she could always feast on some fish now. Perhaps that ship attack would keep Jinx quiet as well, she did what she wanted. Perhaps it would even get a smile from her sister.
The sound of the woman jolting up caused Vi to press back against the rock. Sudden anxiety flushed the siren as she glanced down. She would scream in fear, no doubt try to attack her or run. The realization made her reach up to her heart as it beat painfully. She would never be normal again… never the little girl again. Valid, she never cared for most people in Zaun, but still, she had her sister, and Vander. She could be held, she could run in the streets and jump off buildings. Freedom to be whatever she wanted.
Swallowing her anxious nature, Vi turned her eyes and the claws pressed against the rock with the crackling noise. She came eye to eye with the woman away on the ground.
She… spoke. And with an aggressive tone. Vi raised a brow staring at her as she spoke with such a ferocity of another apex predator. Vi shifted away from the rock, not speak just yet. The metal tool became visible now, attached to the side of her right temple through her wet hair. She lifted herself up out of the water, pressing her webbed clawed hands on a rock on front of her so her face finally became fully visible. The thick metal collar clung to her neck and scars lingered around the base of it. Heavy clunks came as the metal leash hit the side of the rock and Vi leaned forward.
"Bold choice of words," Vi guttural voice spoke out, speaking the same common language of Caitlyn rather then her siren language. "For someone about to be eaten alive in the underwater," Vi chuckled and dropped herself back down into the water with a splash and started to swim around under the water before allowing her head to come back up.
"Scared, no, though it is a first," Vi admitted as she slowly swam around the large center space that she would usually sit on to sunbath. Instead, she now circled the landscape slowly, her head staying above water to speak. "I could eat you if that's really what you want. Also a first for prey to ask me to do that," Vi laughed as she came back in front of Caitlyn and rested against a rock. Her arms crossed on top of it and gazed at her intention.
While memories were faded from the past, she still remember some things. Never did Vi think she would see a Piltie all the way out here. She had been in Piltover before, watching from above the buildings. Stealing cupcakes and sweets. Their attire wasn't hard to forget, so refine and prime. Even with Caitlyn's outfit soaked, it screamed piltie. "What the fuck is a Piltie doing all the way out here? On a ship no less going to Bilgewater. Come on Princess, don't let my stunning personality stun you into silence," Vi smirked, her sharp fangs flashing outward.
