"Good. I’d love the first, the latter not so much." Cody hummed. His smile turned to a grin as he watched Alex’s facial expression. Cody was proud, making Alex proud, making him happy in turn. He’d always had a dream that Alex would become some hot shot professional quittich player and he’s be St. Mungo’s curing the ill and making a medical breakthrough in the wizarding world. The thoughts were private as there was always that edge of insecurity that the young brunette lived with. However, being praised by his ten thousand times better than him boyfriend always makes him feel good enough. "Thank you, babe." He pecked Alex’s cheek before grinning. "I have not named her yet. I wanted to give you the honors of doing so." He smiled over at Alex, batting his lashes for good measure. "So, what’s her name gonna be, big guy?"
Alex chuckled, slipping his arm around Cody's waist and tugging him closer towards him side. "Oh trust me, I know," he said with a grin. Sometimes he thought he knew his boyfriend a bit too well, but then he figured there was really no such thing and that there'd always be something new to learn about him. And even if there wasn't, it wasn't like he'd grow tired of him. "You're actually letting me name her?" Alex asked, looking back at the plant again. That was a pretty big honor, and he'd have to think of a name that was appropriate. Not Sally like he'd tried to name his first cat (thankfully Lily talked him out of that one). "I'm kind of feeling Lorelei for this one, I don't know why. It's what popped in to my head," Alex said, looking to Cody to see if he liked it.
