LEVEL UP Season 4 Episode 1

Level UP is back for a fourth season! Episode 1 of Season 4 will feature Birmingham's resident lovely lady Jodi Ann Bickley as our headline artist and the incredible Roundhouse 2015 winner Caleb Femi will also take the stage as our emerging act.. And it's Press Night! The event will be held at The DOOR, at Birmingham Repertory Theatre. This event is produced by Beatfreeks in partnership with Apples and Snakes supported by Birmingham Repertory Theatre & Ronald Duncan Literary Foundation and Hut Lauren Williams, former Birmingham Poet Laureate will be hosting and producing this season. Level UP will also feature Satellite Events in Sutton, Yardley, Weoley Castle, Aston and Erdington, engaging groups outside of the city centre with spoken word and poetry. Routes2Roots Launch event

Heritage Lottery Fund West Midlands (HLF) invites you to discover the heritage of one of Britain’s youngest cities; Birmingham! Join us on Thursday 10th September from 16.00 – 19.00 at the newly-opened Impact Hub Birmingham for the ‘Routes2Roots’ expo.

Routes2Roots unleashes ideas and thoughts around heritage, identity and culture. Come and meet young people, youth groups, artists, influencers, Routes2Roots brand ambassadors, heritage organisations and the HLF West Midlands team. On the day, you will get information, guidance and support to develop a project idea and potentially apply for a grant of £10,000 - £50,000 through the Young Roots programme to explore a youth-led heritage project.

Expect talks, music, live performances, workshops and idea-generating sessions, surgeries, food and conversations.
