*Venus walks into Lord Mayor’s office. Lucy and Old Fred are also there*
Lord Mayor: “Yes, my dear boy…we have all gathered to discuss a serious matter of business…and a decision”
*Venus sits down*
Venus: “And that is…?”
Lucy: “We have been watching you, Venus. You have excellent leadership qualities. Especially after you saved Pepperland from the Flying Glove attack”
Venus: *chuckles awkwardly* “Y-yes…the glove…that I definitely didn’t keep as a pet after saving everyone…”
Old Fred: “Anyways…we have come to the conclusion that you, Venus…will become the Head Chief of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band!”
Venus: “W-what? Me!? Chief? I uh…I don’t know…really, you guys, I’m not that much of a leader, y’know? ‘Here comes CHIEF VENUS!’ See how ridiculous that sounds?”
*Lord Mayor, Lucy, and Old Fred look at each other, as if trying to telepathically think of what to say next*
Lucy: “Venus…we know that your mental health has been a bit out of control lately. This promotion came out of nowhere for you, but if you need help determining if you can do this, you can always talk to us. We’re here for you.”
*Venus takes a deep breath and stands*
Venus: “Thank you…I’ll consider it…but are you sure?”
Lord Mayor: “Of course, Venus. You’ve shown much passion and commitment for the band and we think you are ready…”
*Venus smiles, feeling a bit better…but he clutches his arm, which under his sleeve…is turning blue*
Venus: “Thank you again. You shall have my answer by tomorrow.”
*Venus tips his hat, walks out of the office…and sits on the steps outside. He buries his head in his hands*
