#PayingHomage to one of the Greatest today! Illmatic was released 4.19.1994 and when I heard it for the first time I listened to the entire thing with my eyes closed. I didn't even have aspirations to rap at this time. Little did I know the seed for my love of hip hop was being rooted and planted.
