Asteroth finally working up the courage to confess to HotShot and they regect him. Not because they don't like him, they do, but because he's part of choir and might know about their parent murder and the betrayal would be hurt less of they're just friends.

They don't want to get too close, they don't want to set themselves up for heartbreak to set him up for heartbreak.

Sure it could be someone else but what if it is him, what if he does know? What then?

They can't tell him that though, so they just say that they're not interested in him like that and that they should just stay friends.

Asteroth walks away, he knew this would happen so why is he so sad?
