Whumpee who comes home after having some kind of incident or accident, not anything too serious, but maybe they slipped badly on ice walking home and got badly bruised, cuts all over their hands, or they had a panic attack and are just exhausted, or just a really horrible day at work/school and then had to walk home in the middle of a rain storm, etc…and when they get back they’re quiet and withdrawn at first, not resisting when Caretaker fusses over them and gets them warm, looking after their cuts and scrapes. But then they just can’t hold it together anymore, maybe Caretaker says or does something that’s just too nice, and they burst into tears, only realizing then how much they’ve been holding in all day.
