If you don’t own a white eyeliner, invest in one now! By applying white eyeliner on your lower lash line it will make your eyes appear bigger, you will look more awake and it will brighten up your eyes! If you’ve got small eyes and you wanna make them look bigger, this is a great tip! When you’re using a black eyeliner, you’re framing the eyes which makes your eye color POP but it also makes them look smaller. If you want to, you can apply a nude eyeliner instead. The nude color gives it a more natural open eye look. You may have to squint to really see the difference in this picture but try it out and you will see what the white does to your eyes! :)

Beauty Bash

It’s Party Time!  This past weekend I had the honor of being a part of the first-ever National Wing Women Weekend with Birchbox and Benefit Cosmetics.  

There were 200 beautiful ladies who were chosen to be apart of this. That’s a lot of products and parties going on around the world in one weekend.  I feel this connection to so many strangers now.  

I got to throw a beauty bash with five of my friends, “wing women.”  The 20 hostesses who uploaded #BeautyBash Instagram pictures that displayed the most impressive parties won every single Benefit product on Birchbox.com—a $2,200 value!

I want say thank you to my wing women for stepping outside of their comfort zone and for actually showing up at my nerdtastic pajama party.  It was so nice to know that a group of women were willing to just hang out in true vintage style.  We are getting numerous requests for posters and will be offering them soon.  

I want to personally say congratulations to all of the winners but most importantly to all of the gorgeous gals who participated because we were the very FIRST beauty bash bitches.  Everyone is a winner and all that matters is that we made the most of it.
