Employees may not accuse/touch you. They are trained to scare you using tactics like “Would you like to look at some panties to go with your selection” They try to throw you off guard by letting you know they have seen you.
Bras are tagged, panties are not. No chase policy.
i fuckin beeped today
i went to barnes and noble like normal, and i was dressed my typical wear which can be a little odd for others (most of the time i go lifting in yoga pants and a college shirt, but i figured since id done that the other times going normal for me wouldnt be bad) and i concealed in a safe space, triple checked for the little barcodes they like to put in their books, and left through the exit that never has any workers
except of course, the time i beep theres an older lady worker who spots me and i ended up walking quickly through the mall - at first i tried to leave through the nearest exit but the b&n has a huge window and i could see that bitch stalking me through it so i changed paths and walked to a dillards, dumped the books in a changing room, and then left
nothing happened but i was so effin scared guys, i was worried shed call mall security and theyd follow me out to my car or something. im not a minor so that couldve been effin bad ugh im still shaking
i did manage to lift a tank top and some shorts from the macys before i tried b&n (i tried to change up my pattern and look what good that got me :/)
holy shit this is why i’m so PARANOID about lifting at Barnes and Noble because fucking rfid tags are easy to MISS in fucking books.
did you check the covers of the books? Sometimes they’ll place the RFID tags INSIDE the covers or backs of books which is a real easy thing to miss. I lifted a book that made the towers go off too but thankfully no one followed me. I placed a link here too, i hope this can help you in your future hauls from Barnes and Noble! ;u;
i usually notice those even when im not lifting but thats really the only thing i can think of that happened..... ive gotten so much shit from b&n before, like literal stacks of books and magazines but i must have missed one of those tags ugh... thank you for the help!!!!!

lots of family stuff lately so i havent been able to go out and lift much... got some pens from wal-mart, totaled about $15. also took some sewing machine needles from joann's, plus some studs and chalk marker from hancock's. needles were about four bucks apiece and i took five, plus with the other stuff itd be about thirty bucks... so im added $45 to my total
damn man
there are so many new fucking lifting blogs and theyre all so proud of themselves for “saving so much money”
and all i can think is how theyre going to get greedier and greedier until they get caught.
it feels like theyre all 12-16 and that makes me feel a little better cuz at least they wont fuck up their life completely
TLDR; dont be so damn greedy and slow the fuck down
im new and agree with this a lot... i took way too much shit and was way too sloppy with the haul i got and im def not lifting again for at least two weeks... i know some of the cameras had to have seen me so im glad i dressed different and had my hair pulled up (the way my hair is makes me look completely different if its up or down since theres so much of it)... gonna take a lot less on future visits

this was so fucking easy to do cuz no one was paying attention. the only place i worried about was hobby lobby cuz they kept calling the manager on the intercom and i thought id been spotted but nope. at ulta the workers were so busy chatting to each other they didnt look at me at all and michaels i literally took the copics that were next to the cashier, walked away to conceal, then came back with nothin to buy and no one noticed. pretty good for my second lift ever and my first real haul!!!!!!
How many Copic markers are in the sets? How are 2 sets only $40?! Copic markers are $10 PER MARKER here. It makes me cry.
its only 3 markers in the sets that i got!! im honestly not sure if the price i put on the individual markers are right or not, it probably cost more but i didnt check before i lifted them :/

I don’t know how often people lift from JoAnn Fabrics, but my mom is a manager there and she said the only working cameras are by the register, front door, back door, and jewelry section. All the others are fake. And no one actively watches them. Also they don’t chase after, or stop you. Have fun ;) xx

lol just thinking about how even when I was younger Id take small shit like when I was ten I was lifting shit from wal-mart and walgreens its no surprise that Im starting to lift things again
something I'll probably end up doing a lot is taking fabric. idk if there's other seamstress kleptos out there but lifting fabric would probably be the easiest thing for anyone to do and it's hella expensive. taking classes where it's required to have fucking blows.
