In 2003, the Imperial Irrigation District entered into a 45-year agreement to sell water to San Diego County. As mitigation, the IID was required to pump water directly from the Colorado River into the Salton Sea, to replace the water that would have entered the sea via runoff. The mitigation requirement ends in 2017. After that, the water levels in the Sea will drop dramatically, leading to a greatly increased area of exposed playa. This will send even more toxic dust into communities in Riverside and Imperial Counties, where there are already high rates of dust-related health problems, such as asthma, lung cancer and cardiac disease.

The Dangers of Exploring : A Building Partially Collapsed In

True story. Good idea to always stay in a single file line. I never walk side-by-side with people I'm with. I've seen legs go thru floor boards; And a good buddy of mine was actually at Plymouth County Hospital (thankfully in a different building) when what I believe was the nurses quarters completely collapsed..

Be careful UE friends- Even testing floor boards with a monopod could potentially prevent a broken bone.
