I'm dropping out of Darlington for a bit, hoping my muse will come back and my personal life settles down enough to allow for Rping again. I'm benching my kids for a while. Rudy and Beck mean a lot to me but I can't juggle them in anymore and it's unfair to the people I have prominent plots with how spotty my activity is. I'm leaving things as open ended as possible, so for the sake of headcanonning, Beck is going to rehab per her father's demands. A rehab period usually lasts 90 days, if I'm not mistaken? Past that, she's going to go to the countryside and stay with her uncle until she gets back on her feet. Thank you for making this rp fun for me for so long everyone!

“Wow people around here are just so friendly. So glad i moved back” he rolled his eyes and got his ‘flat’ keys from the secretary.

“You want nice, go to a sanatorium or a kindergarten,” she combated, sighing. Today was one of those days she was just itching to pick a fight.

“At least he wasn’t American.  That would have been much worse.”

“Infinitely worse. The bloke could’a slipped you somethin’.” She shook her head, looking disgusted, “Dudes are unreal.”

“I like the sound of that.” Winona laughed, taking a glass. “I am isolated twenty four seven besides reading the gossip blog when it’s midnight and I am bored.” She smiled softly, sipping the tequila Beck poured. “Well I am practicing the usual CPR and doing stitches. They have set me up with some patients for practice. It’s actually super cool to be honest.”

Beck leaned forward and knocked back two shots in one breath, then braced herself on the counter and making that sour, disgusted face one usually associates with drinking tequila. “Don’t sip it, mate,” she threw in, laughing. Hearing about the goings on in a hospital used to interest her. She wrote a short story about it, in fact; but as of late she found a lot of it to be creepy and unsavory. “And stitches are easy? That’s.. that’s mental. Sewing skin is easy?”

“Right— we wouldn’t want that.” She chuckled before biting down on her bottom lip as she continued to take photos of the other girl, smiling every once in awhile as she caught a glance of the pictures. “Strike whatever pose you want, you’re—-these are looking good.”

Beck laughed again, dusting off her knees and thinking of a new pose. She then twirled once and stood on her toes, one hand in the air as if she was dancer in a ballet. “Hurry up and snap one before I fall over,” she said, wobbling a little on the tips of her toes.

“You talk as though you personally founded this town and if that was the case I’d be impressed but I’m 100% sure it was just your family right?” Lachlan corrected bluntly.

“Well now we’re getting into semantics,” she pointed out coldly, “And between you and I, in a fight of semantics I promise, mate, you will lose.”

“Why not? It’ll make the sex intense and interesting if we fight constantly and take it out on each others bodies,” they teased right back before letting out a laugh. “I know I am, so thanks for noticing. Fair enough, but most people I know are around here and I sadly still attend school here so I gotta stay until I’m graduated.”

“You surprise me, love. And I gotta say, I like how you think,” She said, chuckling. Oh how Beck enjoyed their inconsequential back and forth. “And so humble,” she added with a smirk and a finger wag, “Oh yea, that’s how the beast gets you. Lures you with uniform pastel boutiques and traps you in your web of friends and college forever.”

“How would that make them angry? And I don’t suck. I’m great at Call of Duty.”

“You’re getting teabaged,” Beck pointed out, gesturing to the TV, “Might wanna revisit your definition of ‘good’.”

He hugged her tightly. “I missed your stupid face so much.”

“I missed your dumb butt too,” she said, squeezing him before letting him go and settling for holding his hand. “Ice cream? On me?”

Oh, come on. Bloody American kids. Why are all of them so angry playing games?

“Because you suck and your team is losing?”

“How nosy of you” he muttered in the same tone “do you always butt in where your opinion isn’t needed?”

She smiled venomously, waiting patiently for the walk sign to appear. “It is my duty and privilege as a Founder of this wonderful town, in fact.”

“Good to be out and about again.” She said, hopping out of her valet’s car and hugging Jason.

“Whatever you say, bitch.” With a bright smile, Ellie quickly moving to help Beck take the rocks that surrounded their lower legs off their pants, looking over at the girl with raised eyebrows.·“It’s a special talent if you ask me, although yes – I have come to realize this place will never change.”

“Hey, if we’re going to end up together, you can’t talk to me like that,” she teased, smiling. When her work was through, she stretched, then put her hands in her pockets. “You’re adorable, I gotta admit. Darlington though? Less charming the longer you hang around”

“A psychic genius, huh? Any other special powers I should know about?” She lifted her camera once again to take another photo of the girl. She then looked down at the photo, her grin widening as she glanced up at Beck. “Very good.”

“I’ve already said too much,” she said, “Any more and I’ll have to kill you.” She smiled at the camera lens, at first very school picture day-esque, but then more bashfully. “I can strike another pose if you want.”
