I like the idea of the backrooms in pokemon but not as a hyper scary thing, more so a series of nonsensical environments for pokemon to live in. Instead of entities, theres pokemon that, like you, fell out of bounds and are now stuck. Some pokemon are more hostil than others, some may act differently than they do in the frontrooms, and some pokemon species may even have adaptations from being in certain levels for so long.
