like seriously Kimberlé Crenshaw is such a fantastic and thorough scholar, and these texts address many contemporary debates about essentialism, coalition, difference, and identity politics. I guarantee you if you learned about intersectionality from thise site, you almost certainly don’t understand the complexity and nuance of the concept and how profound its implications are. These texts (the texts where intersectionality emerges from) will give you that understanding.
